The sound of the wolves howling is incredible. You can check out our blog to hear some audio. The tour takes about one hour and is very informative. The guides are multilingual and take the time to ensure all parties can hear the details.

This is a shelter that houses many wolves of different subspecies. They were all Canis Lupus, and from various parts of the world (mainly rescues from zoos), and all of them were absolutely beautiful!

The kids loved it. They were training some dogs when we arrived, so the kids loved watching while we waited for our tour. Inside there is a display and a TV with a slideshow/video loop to watch. Alternatively they have a great area to hang out with tables and chairs outside. They do have a few other rescue animals as well, but we liked the pig and foxes best.

It isn't too far off of the main highway between Malaga, Cordoba and Seville. You should check their site for the current schedule.

They do accept volunteers with a minimum or regular commitment.

Had an amazing morning here. Didn't really know what to expect but was really impressed with the way the park is set out and the knowledge of the staff. Reasonably priced too, informative and a lovely setting. Would definitely recommend

I had been wanting to visit the park for a long time but came away away slightly disappointed. There is no doubt the owner has a passion for wolves and bearing this in mind I found the experience not as expected. The guide was excellent and helpful, the wolves are well cared for and live a life as close to normal as possible. I found the time spent with the rescued animals (petting zoo) more of a padding. It is very good they have been rescued and lovely for children to see them but the time spent with them was not warranted, this could be an optional tour rather than part of the time allocated. I also thought more emphasis could be placed on the plight of wolves in the wild and the persecution they suffer, an excellent platform to encourage people to understand that wolves are not the vicious creatures portrayed by some and for people in general to become more vocal against their persecution. I also was disappointed at the lack of interest in other peoples experiences, I have been so lucky to see wolves in the wild on a number of occasions and was looking forward to talking to like minded people about the sightings but a polite short acknowledgement was really as far as it went. I also felt that once the tour was over there was no encouragement to stay at the park which considering the cost of 11 euros (which I don't consider excessive, they have a lot of animals to care for) it would have been nice to have more than a couple of hours there. Having said all this anyone who does anything to help wolves is doing something good and I wish them luck but hope that the experience of visiting can be enhanced in some way.

This was a great visit, initially we had wanted to go on a howl night, which had to be cancelled due to low numbers as we visited on Dec 17th 2013, but they rang us and changed our booking with no fuss and we went at the end of that day. I cannot understand why people would not want to go in Dec as the wolves are active, being a normal temperature and in summer they hide and sleep, well wouldn't you in Spain. The guide was really informative and guess what the three of us had her to ourselves result!! She was really knowledgeable and passionate about her work and did not rush us as we stopped and wondered at these wonderful animals. WE also heard them howl as the owner came out and started the howl and they responded great stuff. Well done lobo park and thanks from the guys from the UK. Just a cautionary note as the park is placed in a natural habitat for the wolves then walking is fine, but boots are recommended, and buggies wheelchairs may have a problem dependant on the weather. But a great place and well worth the effort.

Usually I avoid zoos because I feel sorry for the animals. However, in Lobo Park the staff tries to provide as natural habitat for the wolfs as possible, and the wolfs seemed to be 'happy'. Also, the farm animals were rescued from bad conditions (and no- they are not fed to the wolfs). We got Alexandra, one of the owners, as our guide: the tour was very informative, interesting and you can clearly see her and Daniel's dedication to the park. Keep up the good work!
