Carmona is a lovely historic little town, very Spanish and well worth seeing and easy to get to Seville from there if you wish.
We tried for the Parador, which was full. This hotel had equally beautiful views and was very close to the central square. Good value so we walked up to the Parador for a meal which was very good.
The hotel seemed almost deserted ,which was a bit odd, but I would recommend it if you get
A room with a view" The pool needed cleaning. Perhaps it was thought too early in the season but I am a rock-hard Northern ..Man, so a swim would have been nice.( I am not tough enough to swim in muddy pools!)

Having booked the Suite Azul the bed was somewhat less royal then the room as it definitely not very big. However the suite has lots of oldfashioned charm and is roomy enough. Great value and perfectly located in the old town. Parking was easy. All in all very Spanish but the staff could be a tad more friendly. Still a good choice if you are looking around for a hotel in Carmona.

Beautiful hotel in the old part of Carmona. For 55 euros for two, it was a great deal.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was charming and small enough not to worry about the whereabouts of our two children. The staff were pleasant and very accommodating, especially the excellent Roberto, waiter at the equally excellent tapas bar and restaurant.
Breakfast was plentiful and very good value. Our children particularly liked the three flavours of milk shake on offer. The atmosphere was relaxed and not stuffy and the location good for Carmona. I would say that Carmona had enough going on for one day, but we also toured Seville, Cordoba and Ronda, all of which were an hour to an hour-and-a-half drive away on pretty good roads. The pool was the only disappointment. At the time of our stay (October) it was shaded, I think unheated and also a little decorated by the flocks of pigeons that would perch on the tile roof above. It did need more regular cleaning to avoid feeling like a four star bird bath. But this was the only blot on an otherwise very good experience and one we would recommend. One tip - opt for the secure parking above ground. It's free unless you want a reserved space. The hotel was only half full while we were there and we never needed to reserve a space, hence parking was free. Thanks for a lovely, authentically Spanish experience.

Believe the comments about the narrow, winding streets you will drive through to find this hotel. But, after all, this was why we were in Spain with our friends and not on a tour, to experience the charming villages and small towns. And, yes, there is parking - very limited, of course, but we were able to park our car right in front.

The hotel is nicely restored, and on our trip we intentionally sought out historic lodgings to add to our experience of the real Spain. Our rooms were lovely, the staff was more than adequate.. The wonderful part was walking out the door and wandering through the streets of Carmona to the town center and park, where many of the locals were enjoying the weather and the company of friends.

So, as a charming village to enjoy for its own history and charm and as a base from which to explore Seville, you can't go wrong with Carmona or this very nice hotel.

Room Tip: We just booked and were given rooms with which we were very pleased.
