The title says it all about Las Islas.

My partner and I spent 11 fantastic days and nights here in mid august on the recommendation of a relative  All the reviews are  spot on about Las Islas. Omar and Muna treat you like one of the family but are not overpowering or pushy, always at hand if you need anything and I mean anything. Frederick the main waiter is an absolute gent who makes the most fantastic sangrias and looks after all the guests with a passion for his job and the hotel. He always has something interesting to say, with an obvious interest in their needs.

The setting has to be seen to be believed, with a wonderful calm atmosphere of running water and birds quietly chirping away in the background. You cannot fail to fall in love with this place if you want to chill out away from the frantic 21st century life outside.

The breakfasts by the pool are sumptuous and are served between 9 and 11 but if you can't make 11 o clock Omar will ensure you are still fed, even bringing breakfast to your room. The food in the restaurant is varied to suit all tastes, and the Irish steak in a peppercorn sauce is out of this world. We ate here 10 nights out of 11, that says it all.

The rooms are very tasteful decorated and are cleaned thoroughly every day by the well mannered cleaning staff. We stayed in room 6 with a stunning view to the well tended gardens below and the sea in the distance. The view through the trees towards the pool is awe inspiring, the pool and dining area is tastefully lit at night to create the perfect ambience for dining with fine food and drink. The big band singer on a Saturday night
" Frankie Valentine" is a perfect nights entertainment again in keeping with the hotels laid back, chill out atmosphere.

It is Omar and Munas obvious attention to detail which makes the difference at Las Islas and this ethos has rubbed of on all their staff.

We will return again and the visit cannot come quick enough.

If you don't wish to read on, I will simply state that this hotel is superb. For those of you wanting to know more......We travelled as a family, 2 adults and our 9yr old daughter. Upon arrival, we were greeted, shown to our room and immediatley offered a welcome drink. This was taken on the balcony of our room overlooking the gardens. The room was beautifully appointed and complemented with lovely furnishings, tea / coffee facilities, mini bar, safe, hairdryer, a quiet air conditioniting system and fantastic shower. Breakfast was excellent throughout, with a selection of breads, cheeses, meats, fruits, wonderful fresh orange juice, gorgeous coffee (or tea if you prefer). All of this is served on a terrace surrounded by lush gardens and the soundtrack of water lapping in the pool. The staff throughout the hotel are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was cleaned daily and bottled water was left in the room.
The location of the hotel is just a 10 minute walk down the hill to the beach at Torreblanca. The hotel offers a free pick up service from Torreblanca station, from which trains run half hourly to Malaga and Fuenguirola. The trains (like all the public transport we used) are clean, reliable and cheap.
Unfortunately, we only ate in the hotel on 1 evening, but wish we had used it more. The dishes are excellent and varied. They even have a menu for little people who perhaps don't like spicy or adventurous foods. Lunch is available with a selection of well priced options - however, breakfast was so good, we didn't need to eat much in the middle of the day. Our daughter was treated like a princess throughout our stay. If you plan to have some trips out, then nearby Mijas Pueblo has to be on your list - a beautiful white stone town which although catering for the many tourists that go there, retains all the charm of a traditional spanish town, complete with a bullring which you can tour. However, you will be so enchanted by this hotel, i doubt you'll find the energy to leave. All of the reviews on this hotel are true. We are already planning our return and have only been home 1 day ! Book now and enjoy.

We've had the most relaxing holiday ever! This is an excellent hotel, with an excellent service, very kind owners and staff. They are all very friendly in an honest way, they make you feel comfortable anytime. And when you need something, you just have to ask, here the slogan is: the client is king! We really come back to this hotel, not only for the peace, the beautiful rooms, the lovely drinks and food, but just because it was the best experience ever! You won't regret this hotel in no single way.
We are a belgian couple with a 8 years old son.

We have just had a fabulous 2 night stay at this beautiful hotel. My husband and I and our 6 year old granddaughter had the best couple of days, at Las Islas. Everything about this hotel is wonderful, beginning with the owner Omar, who makes sure he looks after all his guests personally. The rooms are lovely, we had a lovely balcony with seaview, and the bed was luxurious, and so comfy. really nice bedding, and little luxuries in room make guests feel so welcome. Pool area was a big hit with our granddaughter, and Omar and all his staff made a fuss of her which was nice. Food is lovely. Breakfast was superb, everything from a continental buffet that you could imagine, plus a choice of some cooked items, the coffee was superb! We ate our evening meal both nights at the hotel, and the food and choices on offer are excellent, and very well cooked and presented.
All in all we would definitely give Las Islas 5 out of 5, and couldn't find anything to complain about.

There is precious little that this hotel does not do wonderfully; read the other reviews and everything that is said is true - this is an idyllic hotel which should be the model for others to follow. The outside space is delightful, the food delicious and the hospitality really is beyond compare. We have stayed in lots of reputed top end hotels and inns and Las Islas is without doubt the most impressive place we have ever stayed.

We have stayed twice and on both occasions we have had just the most perfect holiday and we left pining for a swift return. Just thinking of the breakfast is enough to send one's senses spinning - again, it's done perfectly.

If you intend staying here, I would recommend the train from the airport; the train station is about 250 yards from the arrivals area and a ticket to Torreblanca is about one and a half euros and the hotel will pick you up - it's about a two minute drive up the hill.

We travelled to Las Islas on a Friday arriving around 8pm. Transfer from the airport is easy by train, the station is just outside the airport. Travel time to the Torreblanca station takes about 30 minutes and currently costs about 3.50 euros for 2 people. We rang the hotel from Torreblanca station and were quickly picked up. The road to Las Islas is twisty, steep but not far.
Having read all previous reviews our main concern is that it couldn't be 'that good' It was !!
It really is an oasis of calm and tranquillity. Words cannot really describe the setting and atmosphere. Have a look at Las Islas website and video ...
Omar met and warmly welcomed us showing us a small but beautiful room with balcony view of the coast and garden below. The tropical garden is a shady escape from the heat of the day.
The pool area is surrounded by trees and the sunbeds with parasols are very comfortable. At night the whole restaurant and pool area take on a magic feel with soft lighting and candles.
Breakfasts are superb with fresh fruit, ham and cheeses. The choice of eggs with crumbled bacon kept us going all day. The Fairuz restaurant had an excellent menu Lebanese and Spanish … we ate there most nights.
We were made to feel very special from the moment we arrived ... nothing was too much trouble. Omar and Muna are lovely people and take a genuine interest in their guests. We can't wait to go back !

One word to describe this little piece of paradise – AMAZING!

Las Islas was recommended to me and so I booked it as a surprise for my husband’s birthday. I had been told that it was a beautiful hotel with excellent service. Omar and Muna who own the hotel are probably the nicest couple you will ever meet – nothing is too much for them. The rest of the staff at Las Islas are equally as friendly and the level of service is fantastic. The chef Danny is incredibly talented and hence the food was just delicious!

I cannot praise Las Islas enough – you would never believe that you were in Spain it is more akin to an idyllic tropical paradise, surrounded by palm tress, lush gardens, the sound of birds singing, soft music flowing through the courtyard.

My only regret was that I hadn’t booked to stay for longer, however I know for next time as this is a place we will definitely return to!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the top level as the views are beautiful!
