It's 18 months since our last visit and again we were well pleased. The menu del dia offers plenty of choice and excellent value. Three courses and a drink for 15 euros. The service was friendly and efficient and the only thing that has changed is that they now close on Tuesday, so beware!

I first went to this restaurant last year, it was wonderfull very Spanish, very friendly and fantastic food.
My son Michael and his girlfriend Ellie have been back to Fuengirola several times and always go straight to the Bodega la Solera.
We all went as a family on 12th may this year for a week and ate here 3 times that week.
The waiters shake our hands when we arrive as they remember us now being regulars.
Fantastic value for money as you choose 3 courses and get half a bottle of wine all for 15 Euros!
The garlic prawn starter is fantastic (it comes to the table bubbling hot in its dish), the pork with caramelised onion and cheese sauce served with spanish potatoes and veg is a must , followed by lemon sorbie.....wow......i have tried other meals there all excellent but this is my favourite.
They do a fantastic range of tapas too which is great at lunch time, the waiters encourage you to try lots of different tapas and not to over order as they welcome you to stay and take your time. The waiters have the crack with you and one Mataus (if thats how its spelt) says we are his Engilsh teachers and loves to learn the language and loves us to try to speak back in Spanish.
You will not be dissapointed if you visit this lovely, classy little place.

Went here in April as a group of 4 whilst on holiday in the area. We went after it was recommended to us. It was really good. Couldn't fault it. So why not 5 stars? I can't say its "5 star" standard but it's not pretending to be; but it does what it does really well. The meal for 4 (each of us having had a starter and a main course) cost about 110 euros and that included drinks. By Spanish standards we dine early so we found we were the first to arrive when we got there at 7pm. During the course of the evening the place filled up with what appeared to be mostly locals; always a good sign. The was service was friendly and helpful and the food was good. We'll definitely go again - in fact it was so good we did go again a couple of nights later! So we'll definitely go again .....again!

A very good restaurant with traditional Spanish food and wine. The wine suggestions have been excellent each there. We will be back :-)
