“Loved it here!”
Reviewed 8 October 2013

We stayed here in December so it wasn't very busy but it was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was so spacious and clean and it was relativley up to date. We loved having the separate kitchen, not that we spent much time in it but it was nice to have. The location is fantastic, right next to the beach, Perfect! It is just a short walk to the square where all of the bars are aswell so this was handy. We ould definatley come back to this hotel.

Just came back from a 5 day holiday at Ronda 4 and will be booking again for next year. Found the place by chance last summer and was so impressed booked again. Stayed in a really well sized one bed apartment which faced the pool and side view of the beach, floor 3 which gave pretty good views and being high enough up and south facing had the sun on balcony all day. Cleaned twice in 5 days and had towels changed once. Beds were made up on both occasions which was nice, sheets weren't changed, but over 5 days, no problem at all. Fully programmable air con in lounge area and bedroom. Really good almost blackout curtains meant it stayed fairly cool during the day when we were out. Ok, you have to pay a deposit for remotes for air con and tv but you get it back to have some breakfast on departure day!
Decent microwave/grill and hob all immaculate, shower excellent (just don't put it on full cos so powerful it does splash out of rather short screen)
It's a bit of a long stroll into main town/marina area but like walking along the promenade and never in too much of a rush, so no problem..
All in all a great place..on site cafeteria, bar/restaurant and supermarket and dedicated beach area opposite with parasol and sun bed hire.
Staff were helpful and friendly and whole place is super neat, tidy and clean..
What more can I say? Apart from, I will be back! (October, weather was glorious and such good value too)

Room Tip: Request floor 3 or above to get most of sun on balcony and best sea views

All in all we had a great time. The majority of staff were super helpful and friendly, very good interaction with my two year old daughter. The room we stopped in (410) was a great size, people have moaned previously on here about the kettle but to be totally honest its slower yes than a plug in but its really not that bad. Yes the room didnt get cleaned as often as we were told at reception but it didnt faze us that much not having our bed made every day.

Also the rooms have brilliant curtains, totally blackout! Brilliant for us :)

What i would mention is that all rooms in this hotel are smoking rooms, and as non smokers we found our room smelt terribly and this really put a downer on spending time on it. We couldn't unpack our clothes as the ones we did leave out then also smelt of smoke. It was mentioned to reception and they offered to get the cleaners to air freshen the room but it didn't help any and this would stop us going there again in the future unfortunately.

The pools were also extremely cold so we only spent 5 minutes in them, which was a shame as they had great facilities!

The shop attached to the hotel is extremely friendly, helpful and speak really good english.

Top tip! If you like Tapinyaki turn left out of the hotel and after a few minutes walk is a restaurant that's set behind a wall and a swimming pool, great service, gorgeous food, wish we had found it sooner!

The south african restaurant a few down on the left also did great food but only took cash so be mindful.

I found the apartments lovely, very clean, very comfortable and just the best location next to the beach, shops and restaurants. I visited with family and found the three of us were comfortable staying in a one bedroom apartment with a very comfortable couch which opened up to be a double bed. I would highly recommend this place as a base for anyone wanting to explore the local area.

Room Tip: Rooms high up are brilliant for a decent view of the beach

Returned last Thursday from second stay at Ronda 4 after 11 night holiday. The first time we have ever booked to go back somewhere and we will do it again! So conveniently situated right across from the beautiful beach with the most comfortable sunbeds we've ever known. Paco was as efficient and pleasant as usual. 8 euros per day for 2 beds and a parasol. Ronda 4 is basic but clean, with good small supermarkets close by and a variety of bars and restaurants. Staff at Ronda 4 are very pleasant and helpful. All in all, another great, relaxing holiday and we will definitely return.

Room Tip: Go for a room on the pool side.

Great hotel for what you pay really cant complain whatsoever, studio I stayed in was very spacious with two beds and sofa bed it could easily sleep three people. Hotel is in good location stones throw from the lovely beach and roughly twenty mins walk from fuengirola. Talk of the town bar which is next to the hotel does decent food and all staff are friendly, only slight niggle I had was that my room wasnt cleaned until the day before I was due to leave which didnt make sense as they'd have to do it again the next day, but it really wasnt a big problem. Would definitely stay at ronda 4 again

just returned from our 2nd stay at Ronda 4, once again we had a good time, the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious, they are not fancy or luxurious but for what you pay they are brilliant. I would be even happier about our stay if a couple of things were done to make an even better stay, the main one is the towels are only changed once during a weeks stay, and there is not alot of towels to start with, so we had to take extra, the beds weren't changed at all which I would have liked, cleaning is basic and could be a bit better, ie, toilet was dirty and from sitting in the bath and looking at it, was really dirty, just needs a bottle of bleach and a good scrub, my other gripe is having to leave deposits for remote controls, this is not necessary they should just be left in the rooms. These are just minor things though and wouldnt stop me from oing again, This time round the bar/cafe within ronda was also open, ran by 2 nice people, only downside they can't understand English at all so was very hard to communicate with them. There is an excellent beach a stones throw from the ronda, run by Paco, again this is lovely, the shop next door to Ronda is also very good, run by lovely people and very good prices. If you want a lovely breakfast/lunch, head to the wessex bar, owned by sharon, food is lovely, place very clean, a bit more upmarket and a bit pricier than other bars but well worth it, turn left as you come out of Ronda and its a 5 min walk. for a gorgeous evening meal, head to el rio, situated in los Boliches, 10 mins walk from ronda 4, its a must go place for a perfect meal with lovely atmosphere, always busy. Then if you want a really special out of this world meal, head to los Enebros on the rd behind, its not far from the area where the ferria is held, but come back towards los boliches a little, its simply fantastic, food and surroundings simply amazing, but not cheap. Then for a good night out, go to the family bar down on the port, a dutch run pub, great music and friendly team, or a little hidden treasure is la boheime, a small intimate bar which really is an hidden gem, situated in los boliches up the alley, it is full of current and ex singers with amazing voices, had great night there.Anyway back to ronda 4, would definitely reccommend this as a place to stay, the staff are also nice and welcoming, there is one lady in particular (shortish dark hair in her forty's) who's name i cant remember, she is really so pleasant and helpful, she never changes even after a full nights working. definitely will return
