“Can't fault these apartments, good value and lovely staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 November 2013

We've just got back from the Ronda 4 apartments. The apartment was clean, well equipped and spacious. Our only disappointment was we didn't have a pool view (well not of Ronda 4 pool) despite emailing before hand, so didn't get any sun in our apartment. But that was no big deal we still had a lovely stay. The staff are really friendly and helpful and will go above and beyond to help, especially Nanci what a lovely girl. The pool is very chilly at this time of year, so we went to the beach and hired beds and a parasol from Paco each day we did negotiate on the price because it's out of season. Now the cleaners, well we saw them around the apartments but we stayed for 5 days and our apartment wasn't cleaned but we did have change of towels once. Having said that for what we paid it would have probably cost us more to go caravanning for the week and you don't expect cleaners in your caravan!! It is self catering after all.. The Los Boliches area of Fuengirola is vey quiet this time of year and is more suited to people who like to eat out and maybe have a quiet drink. If you want something a bit livelier you need to head for the port and go to Shaggy's what a great place lots of live music or Fish Alley with a choice of bars. All in All we had a good time, but it is very quiet this time if year. P.S. the beds are memory foam mattresses once you get used to them they're really comfy

We found this hotel very clean and comfortable, perfect facilities in the spaciouse apartment for self catering. All mod cons, touch screen hob, flat screen t v , beautifull china. The apartment regualy visited by the friendly maids, and reseption staff faultless. We had side sea views which is esential when on a seafront location. Yes the pool a bit on the chilly side, but my wife in every day. Strongly recomend this hotel as the best value in Fuengirola.

Room Tip: High floor, with beech views.

Fantastic for family's,across the road from the beach. Rooms are lovely air-conditioning in bedroom and lounge English TV channels. For family's who have fussy children Iceland is 5 mins away in a taxi for 6 euro. Swimming pool is good with little pool for the young ones. The shop down stairs sells most English things very quiet never heard any noise from other rooms. Down stairs has children's play area and bar so you can have a coffee or beer also purchase food to we will be returning excellent.

Room Tip: One bedroom apartment sleeps 2 adults one child and toddler in travel cot

Excellent location Friendly staff The studio apt we had was a bit too noisy as it overlooked 2 main roads nice pool even though it was rather cold but still managed a swim every day 2 mins walk to beach went in october so it was quiet and the bars in the vicinity of the hotel closed at 23 00 hrs but there were other bars 3 euro taxi ride away that opened til later all in all a very relaxing holiday

We have just returned from a weeks stay with the kids (4 & 5). this would have been a 5 star review had it not been for 2 issues. 1, the pool was absolutely freezing so the kids couldn't use it at all. The one time the kids got in they actually went blue & were shivering. You can't have inflatables in it either. 2, the beds were so uncomfortable, the mattresses were just like sponge, woke up in pain everyday.
On the plus side it was very clean & we got clean towels 3 times during the weeks stay & loads of toilet roll. The rooms have a small kitchen area with hob & dual microwave, our room was much more modern than some of the pics I've seen on here. We had a large bedroom & bathroom & a decent size living room area with sofa bed. You have to pay a 20 Euro deposit for TV & AC remotes. The AC worked really well, much better than other hotels I've stayed in. The shop at the hotel was one of the cheapest on the resort & the staff were lovely. The location is great, right on the beach which was beautiful. I would recommend Fuengirola for the weather in October but there isn't a lot to do at this time of year as much is closed.
We had a room overlooking the pool (206) which was great. If you want a sea view you would have people / traffic right outside your room.

we have just returned from a one week stay at the ronda . the apartments were spacious and clean. the pool area did not get much sun during the day. the towels were only changed once in the week we stayed. staff were nice. but don't think we will book these again only because of the pool situation

We have just returned from our fifth visit to Ronda 4 and once again are unable to find fault with anything at all. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have everthing we required for our two week stay.
The postion of the hotel is perfect, literally across the road from the beach. There are so many good restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The weather was amazing for the whole of the two weeks.
We had planned the trip to be there for the Feria Fuengirola and loved seeing all this part of the culture of Spain.
All in all it was a perfect holiday in a wonderful part of the world and the Ronda 4 certainly is value for money.
