after being pushed from pillar to post,we were finally booked in here, we were a stag party from wales, the hotel was very accomodating, they understood that we may have been a bit rowdy, but asked us to keep it down which was fine, the hotel was spotless, food was ok, but we ate out most nights,if there was one issue,it was that we asked for low floors, but the only rooms they had were on the 10th,11th,and 12th floors, but other than that, i couldnt fault the place, close enough to the harbour where all the stag party madness took place, but quiet enough to be able to sleep well

Could not fault this hotel. Wife and I. Spent one week here in March 2014. The price of the room was very reasonable and the room itself was very comfortable, clean and quiet. From the 8th floor, our balcony gave a lovely view of the sea and along the coastline. The hotel is situated at the more upmarket end of town with many good restaurants and bars nearby. You are only two minutes walk from Los Boliches train station with direct links to the airport and Malaga city. We did not eat in the hotel so can not comment. However, from our point of view, hotel was excellent and we will definitely return

Room Tip: Choose room on higher floors to get best view over the sea

Just after coming back from a week in this hotel, We got a good package that included food which is so so so bad I mean really bad out of seven nights we only eat in the hotel three days for the dinner I don't think my body could take any more of the food. We ask for a lower room but we got the 8th Floor which was very very small for three people. The pool area was cold so so cold so we went down to the beach every day. The hotel area is right on the seafront which is great and the staff we lovely, I think for three people we should of gotten a bigger room, We also had no sun on are balcony which was so so annoying as we where at the back of the hotel. This to me is not a family hotel and caters for older people

Room Tip: This is a hotel for older people and caters for people with any kind of illness. Try to get a lower...

Dear Sir,

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to share your opinion with us. I feel sorry to read your comments with respect to your recent stay.

We understand how disappointing it can be when your expectations are not met and I must point out that, our Buffet Restaurant has a standard level. We have implemented a plan that is audited every month by an independent company with excellent results.
I also want to note that you could always report this at the moment in the Hotel, so maybe we could have helped you with different menu or another selection of products as we are open every day at dinner with more guests and we really did not have any problem about our food.

About the room, we do not really understand what it could has happened, since most of our guest leave the Hotel very pleased about our rooms. We apologize for the inconveniences due to this situation.

Thank you so much for your kind and considerate review about our staff. We always welcome feedback from our Guests and we were delighted to read the positive comments from you.
We are most grateful for your feedback, which is such a valuable source of information and help us to improve our service.

Kind regards,

Checked in to this hotel for two nights, decided to only stay one. Rooms clean but dated, replacing the ancient tv would make the room look ten times better. No coffee making facilities. The "mini bar" has only a lone bottle of water and nothing else. The balcony is ridiculous, don't stay in any of the *02 numbers, they are on a corner between two rooms with just a gap between walls to the view. Only positive is the free wifi which works well. Wouldn't stay here for a holiday but it's adequate for a one night stop over.

stayed there in March 2010.Went on a business trip for 5days,on the Malaga coast.
It was only B&B for us,as we travelled a lot during the day, everyday,so we needed to eat in different places.
really comfortable rooms,great bathroom,comfy beds,very clean hotel,great staff.
very safe and secure hotel.
outstanding views from the room balconywe stayed on the 12th floor.have a look at the photos.it has a swimming pool but didn't try it on as it was not heated and it was only 10-12Celsius in March.
The beach was just across the road.It can be a bit noisy if you stay on the lower floors but very quiet from the 8th floor up.
continental breakfast.
I would go again there when it's summer and try a half board or even all inclusive.
plenty of fish restaurants along the coast, bars and café places.Don't know much about the nightlife around there as I didn't go out at night, needed my sleep as I was on business there, but it's worth giving it a go.

Just back from a weeks winter stay at Confortel Fuengirola, hotel easily accessed for the railway station at Los Boliches only a 10 minute walk away. Stayed on the 10th floor was offered at a supplement a sea view room, but the view we had was excellent could see right up to Benalmadena. Our room was clean but in need of a refurb as very tired and dated. towels were changed every day. The old fashioned tv only had BBC1 all the other channels were Spanish, need more English speaking channels as a lot of the guests were English speaking, probably in the summer months this would not be a problem, but in the winter when only a few bars are open and the evenings are cold, satellite would be appreciated. In fact half way through our weeks stay we lost BBC1 so no English speaking channels at all ! We were told that something would be done and was still waiting for something to be done up until the day we left. Luckily the wifi was free, and we had downloaded some things to watch in the evenings.
Breakfasts were standard and many guests had them, but the evening meals were far from standard, in fact they were appalling ! most nights there were only 7 guests at most in the restaurant. On the 4th night we went down to dinner and found no buffet, we were given a menu with some of the food that was on offer on the buffet the previous night. This food was repetitive, bland and boring, and if you like for your desert every night rice pudding and custard then this is the place for you ! The next night when we went down the same food was on offer again. the waitress got my order wrong. after a long wait for the right order. when the food arrived it was inedible and not worth the wait. She made the same mistake with another guest as well.
The evening meal was 8.50 euros per person, a complete rip off. Most of the bars are shut at night so difficult to find somewhere to eat in the evening, we therefore had our main meal in the afternoon at bars outside the hotel. The most we paid was 12 euros and this was for a 3 course meal with wine included this was at a quality restaurant in Marbella. Many people have commented that this is not a 4 star hotel, we have stayed in many 4 star hotels and agree. The hotel in our view should be down graded to a 3 star.,

My mother lived just a 200 m. up the street from the Confortel Fuengirola just at the corner of Los Boliches. After she passed away I decide to stay two nights at the Confortel. Superb room with a balcony I had everything within walking distance. The very modern train from Malaga's station left me within 100m from the hotel door. The restaurant is only convenient for breakfast with an excellent bar for evening al fresco drinks. Parking is also very convenient all around the hotel and underground too.

Room Tip: It is a must to get the last floors rooms with balcony, you'll enjoy the view; use a good panora...
