A lovely new hotel right in the heart of Fuengirola. We stayed in one of the superior rooms which was huge and a bargain for the price. We had a balcony overlooking the square and whilst it is in a busy area the soundproofing is pretty good. The staff are lovely and there is a nice rooftop pool. Breakfast was included with the room which was reasonable. When staying in Fuengirola we now wouldn't, consider anywhere else.

A charming boutique type chic hotel - just back from a 6 night stay and cannot fault the place. Beautiful and tastefully finished and the location is really good for the resort and the hotel is located in a pretty square, the comfy rattan furniture on the terrace is fab for people watching and cocktails!! The staff were friendly and attentive although a man whom we were told was the manager just seemed to sit outside the hotel on the terrace most mornings and evenings and did not speak or greet anyone, as a manager he needs to be more engaging and upskilll on his customer service - I did try and acknowledge him to compliment his the hotel and the team he just looked straight through me, the other staff always spoke and greeted us - infact he could learn a lot from his team! The breakfast was really good and we did not use the pool as the place is located so close to the beach and as per previous reviews we did not experience any noise when in our room and we were even next to the lift!!. We definitely plan to return and highly recommend this hotel

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights mid june 2014. It's bright, modern and tastefully done with loads of character. They are still making improvements daily. While we were lying at the pool they introduced padded cushions for the sun beds - very comfortable. There are only about 12 but with so few rooms in the hotel we never struggled to get some. Also the 'pool' is very small - only big enough to go and sit in when it all gets too hot. The beach is only a short stroll away though and the sea is very good for swimming in. They also installed a t.v. and extra shading on the roof terrace bar area; and added more couches at the front entrance terrace while we were there.

The room we stayed in wasn't the biggest but had everything we could want or need - free safe, mini-bar, robes, slippers, (even flip-flops), pool towels, all the toiletries you can think of (including toothbrushes - but no toothpaste), excellent (quiet) air-conditioning, loads of wardrobe and drawer space. The only negative is facing the derelict building but we knew we wouldn't be getting a good view and there isn't anything the hotel can do about that - for a four day break at such a good price it didn't bother us. Oh and one more little negative was the banging doors at 8 in the morning - must be when staff come on shift - the sound carries right up the atrium and into the room. On the positive side the soundproofing between rooms seems to work - we never heard any noise from other rooms.

There are loads of shops and restaurants near the hotel. We went to the zoo round the corner to kill time before our flight home and I was pleasantly surprised by it. Get the train from the airport - the station is only a 5 minute walk along the road from the hotel (doable with suitcases on wheels) - very easy and cheap.

We chose to spend two weeks in this hotel to coincide with my wife's birthday, having spotted it whilst visiting Fuengirola earlier in the year. It is an impressive building, set on a square in a nice part of town, with a pleasant terrace area to the front. We had assumed that guests would have been able to take breakfast on the terrace but, unfortunately, breakfast is served in the windowless basement, which is a disappointment.

Our main problem with this hotel however is our room (we are currently still there). The room itself is very modern, well furnished and kept spotlessly clean. However, it overlooks the roof of a derelict building and the unsightly rear of nearby apartment blocks. Had we only been staying for a couple of nights, whilst not ideal, this would have been less of a problem for us. However, whilst staying for two weeks, it is! We did ask to be moved immediately we discovered the problem upon arrival and again the following morning, offering to upgrade if necessary. However, on each occasion, we were told that because we were staying for a relatively long period of time compared to other guests, no alternative was available. This is very disappointing and completely spoils our opinion of what could be a very nice place to stay.

Stayed 2nd Juine 2014 for one week with friends, Hotel was the old town hall been tastefully converted into a 40 room hotel. All Beautifully done our friends had room 302 which was fabulous, we paid extra for a penthouse suite and had room 402, not very happy with that room two balconies overlooking back yards and only one had furniture on. would not say this should be penthouse prices. Having said that the hotel and staff are brilliant all staff very helpful and friendly. We have booked again for next year but will not be having room 402.

Really dont know where to start with this review!! just spent 5 glorious, peaceful, special nights at the Casa Consistorial. Newly opened in feb 2014 and owned by the ex mayoress of fuengirola the building is magnificent only having 40 rooms and being in the centre of fuengirola which is so convenient for shops, restaurants, bus and train stations. The beach is a short walk down the road opposite, shopping mall 10 mins walk away. The rooms are to die for. We had the penthouse suite overlooking the pool and the square with a very distant sea view, massive bed, full bathroom, leather corner suite, two tv's and two balconies well worth the extra money. Pool area small and very peaceful (pool was cold tho!). The staff were very pleasant and professional especially Carolina on reception and Lues at the pool bar always happy and smiling and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was adequate but didnt like being underground to eat it but thats just us. There are no facilities to make a hot drink in the rooms but well stocked (cheap) mini bar had water juice pop beer wines and spirits in. Three things i would have liked:- a full length mirror in the bedroom, mattresses on the sunbeds (really quite hard beds) and maybe just maybe the pool to be a little bit heated as it was really too cold fir anyone to use which was a shame. I am definitely going back to this in september and would recommend this little gem to anyone x

Room Tip: We had the penthouse suite 401 but all rooms seemed very nice. All rooms are sound proofed from nois...
