“A hidden gem”

This turned out to be great place to stay. We felt as if it was like being at home. It was easy to get to from the Los Boliches train station.
It was great that there was a proper cooker instead of just a couple of rings. The fridge was large with a decent freezer. The bedroom storage and mirrored wardrobes were great. The beds were fairly comfortable and there was always hot water with good power. The pool was lovely and the gardens well kept. Although there are no sun beds by the pool, there is a room next to the lifts on the ground floor where you can borrow lilos and sun chairs. The reception was manned more frequently than expected and the staff were very friendly. You could rent the safe in your room too. The bed sheets and towels were changed after six days, which was a bonus. The night security guard was a charming gentleman and very helpful. It would have been even better if there was either aircon in the livingroom or at least a large free standing fan that could be moved around and used, as it was too hot with just the ceiling fans. It is somewhere we would consider going to again. It would be a certainty if there was air con or a free standing fan.

on arrival at 10.pm ish ,we could not get in main door as been given wrong key pad number another resident let us in, then to our horror there was no key for room left for us ,so rang emergency number with no reply, but then chris rang me back he said he would phone to get someone out, waited about half hour and 2 ladies arrived ,they went on computer and told us there had been pluming problems and our room was not available, in the end she gave us key to room that was there for someone else, and we would have to sort with reception in morning. so in the morning we reported to reception and she put us in another room, higher up as we had requested . but to our horror we had no electric a man came to fix it but could not ,then another came and got it going this was then 1 ish pm. All this time we had not been able to make breakfast or have hot drink .NOT HAPPY ,then to our horror we find there was someone in the room we were told was ours when we booked so not flooded as we were told.I consider we lost day of our holiday, but we still had to be out of our room by 11am when our flight was 10 pm no compensation at all . as for rooms all good furnishings spoilt by wall, floors, outside furniture and windows in need of updating. also mosquito's they bit! .on the good side wonderful views, lovely sun trap, and beach just across the road .not sure yet if we will go back
