“A great compact zoo with plenty to watch.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 August 2014

This zoo was smaller than some I have visited but really worth a visit. There is a wide range of animals and all look well cared for and in good surroundings. Bizarre that some people's apartments must over look this zoo as it is centrally located - what a view! Information is supplied at each area so you can learn as much or as little as you want and there are staff around who were happy to answer questions. There is a play area for children and several eating areas plus vending facilities although we did not use any of these. A visit can take as long or as short a time as you want and many people had season tickets as it would be good value for those with children. We went round twice as the animals were fairly active so you could see different behaviour each time and there are plenty photo opportunities. Go early as the park soon filled and make sure you see the meerkats! Parking is available close by but if staying locally I would walk!

“bit of a disappointment”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 August 2014

Visited here with my 9 year old grandson. Mostly went to see komodo dragon. It cost 66.15 euro for the 4 of us.
The bioparc is in the centre of fuengirola up a side street so really should have known. There is a tiger with no stimulation who appeared very bored. A lone hippo who we managed to see eyes and tail of. Lots of birds and fish. Snakes and spiders in another small area and lots of crocodiles There were information boards for some animals that were not in the pens. The dragon is only a young one so quite unimpressive really. We did not rush and it took us about an hour to get round including the gift shop. Every so often pioed sounds of animals were played. You are invited to go at night to experience the sounds of animals at night but if it's the piped variety I would suggest you give it a miss and save some money
