The bioparc was very good. Alot of animals to see and there is also a cafe for a pit stop. We never ate in it tho. The bioparc is abit expensive but you do get what you pay for,

Had not been to the Fuengirola Bioparc since the 1980s/1990s with my children so it was quite a novelty to take my grandchildren there.
We arrived around 12.00hrs and there was a bit of a queue to get the entrance tickets but all went very smoothly (although unfortunately with the cost of the tickets at 17.00€ for adults it must impact on the number of visitors). There is however a season ticket that can be purchased for locals.
There is a photographer at the entrance and you can view and purchase the images when leaving for approx. 5€. The park is very well laid out and offers something for everyone...the park seems to do their best to provide a good environment for the animals and yet still allow visitors to get reasonably close to them. The park offers a show with a message at 13.00hrs in the forest clearing which the children and adults alike absolutely loved...and had everyone fully attentive for the 20 minutes duration. There is also a regular trip inside the big baobab tree which allows smaller groups of people to get up closer to some of the animals. There was a strolling African music group playing, a children's playground and a restaurant. During the summer the park is open during the evening and I would think it would be wonderful as during the heat of the day a few of the animals were quite smart and took refuge in the shade ! With everything from cockroaches to bats, crocodiles to gorillas and komodo dragons, tigers and monkeys this really is a fantastic place for all the family.

Good selection of animals. Was so warm most were staying to the shade and either lethargic or asleep. Maybe best to visit later in the day in the summer months when temps drop.

The park is small, but very well laid out with plenty to see and do. The animals are magnificent, and the glass viewing areas allow you to get incredibly close to the tigers and lions, and appreciate the monkeys playful interest in us.

I recommend that you visit in the morning, or evening as the animals seem to like to sleep during the afternoon sunshine!

The park was very beautiful and charming. It was also compact sized; you did not need to walk too much (that is very nice thing especially with young children), but still there were lots of animals and things to see. It is unbelievable that a place like that can be in the middle of town center.
