We had the pasta with seafood at the new paco restaurant on calle cristo.just around the corner from the main restaurant. the restaurant has been decorated beautifully and the food was excellent. lovely fresh pasta in a great sauce. although the amount of seafood included and the portion itself was abit small.

The perfect place for a drink, the patio is like a tropical garden, very nice.
The food is just below average and you can find better elsewhere.
Staff seemed to bee a little tired and bored.
Prices normal for Nerja.
We didnt see no locals in the place, only tourist.

We chose this restaurant for our last evening meal before flying home the following day. We had been visiting the restaurant at lunchtime for tapas (very nice, too) and decided to treat ourselves. The food was excellent, well cooked and nicely served. The staff were efficient and, even though I changed my mind for my order, accommodating. Although the restaurant was relatively busy (surprisingly so for out-of-season and relatively early dining) we found the atmosphere welcoming and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We also found it to be good value for money with nice-sized portions and a bottle of rioja for around €30 for the two of us.

I've visited this restaurant several times over the past 7 years and have found it to be reliably good for quality of food and service. The lady owner (presumably Mari) is always welcoming in a quiet, unobtrusive way and the staff cope well at busy times. The surroundings are very pleasant, although the more open courtyard area can be a bit cool at times. There is plenty of choice on the set menus, as well as variety a la carte and prices are very reasonable - something for everyone. Don't expect haute cuisine - you'd have to go to somewhere much more expensive.

We ate here on 3 occasions , The quality & freshness of the food was excellent. We twice asked if they could do a paella & 20 mins later We had one of the best paellas ever. They nice touch was the complimentary tapas while waiting. A good sign knowing the food is being cooked while you wait. Highly recommend.
