This is the main attraction of Nerja, a balcony out to the sea. It provides a lovely view out to sea and plenty of seating and space to walk around. At dusk the swallows fly overhead which is idyllic.

This is a lovely viewing point well worth a visit to see the coast. Plenty of entertainment music painting etc grab an icecream and sit and enjoy the spectacular view

We visited Nerja and the Balcony of Europe in July. The town is lovely with an amazing church. There are plenty of shops, although they were a bit pricey. There was lots of cafes and a couple of ice cream parlours and the ice cream was amazing. There were some fantastic views from the Balcony of Europe. Well worth a visit!

The best time is at night time which is when many performers come out. There is a ice cream shop there in the square that has the best whiskey ice cream and the best overall ice cream I have ever had. I know it sounds weird but whiskey ice cream was the beat!

Loved this plaza as so much going on both through the day and in the evenings. There’s something for everyone, with musicians and bands to street artist and entertainers. You have amazing views of the beaches and a lovely place to stop and watch the world go by or enjoy a drink and a meal at one of the many restaurants that line it
