A lovely spot to ensure you see in Nerja. Watch the parakeets in the palm trees and have a drink in a restaurant or an ice cream from one of the three ice cream shops and people-watch in the main square. The part of the old town with lots of restaurants is just east of there.

In the daytime the Balcon has a wonderful vista looking out over the Med but it comes to life in the evening where you can sit & have a drink and people watch. There is also local entertainment most nights for all, a most enjoyable experience that one should try at least once

The Balcon de Europa is a happening spot in Nerja. Lots of entertainment happens on the Balcon, it is very large so can accommodate a large number of people. We have seen a bike race with over 2000 bikers at one time starting on the Balcon. There was a symphony concert, with orchestra & choir held there one evening and it was truly beautiful. It has a large number of restaurant and shops right next to the open area. A must see place when you visit Nerja.

This is a beautiful little square with stunning views ,there’s always something going on in it from artists drawing people and musicians playing and it’s surrounded by lovely cafes ,you can sit at cafe Albi and watch everything going on
