Undoubtedly rated as one of the best restaurants in Nerja. Situated only some 50 metre from the Balcon de Europe, it is very easy to find.
It is seriously a fish restaurant, the variety of product is outstanding, but, if on your pre meal booking you do not see your particular choice, they will do their very best to source that which you require.
For meat lovers, however, there also some top cut meat dishes available.
There were four of us went, we all went for the fish dishes.
A small dish of olives was presented whilst we considered the menu, followed by warm bread rolls and a large dish of mixed salad to pick at whilst our meal was being prepared.
The two ladies went for Prawn Cocktail and us two fellars went for the Gambas Pil-Pil. I prefer Gambas al Ajillo, which is less spicy and more garlic but that which we had was delicious with plenty of the bread so as not to leave the olive oil juice!!
Again, there was a split in choice, the two ladies went for the Merluza ( Hake ).Rebozada. By their comments, it was outstanding, but the portions were too large.
We men had no problems with the portions, we managed to cope! We went for the Lubina ( Sea Bass ) which was de-boned at the table. Absolutely brilliant.
To finish, our sweets were generous and very enjoyable.
The service we were given was one of the best I have enjoyed even during my world travelling working life.
It is not cheap, but if you want the best, try this for size!
Whilst you eat, do not forget the lovely view through the end of restaurant windows of the ocean.
