“Exactly as described - lovely.”
Reviewed 10 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We had a lovely holiday in Nerja. The villa was excellent, very clean and well equipped, with fabulous views from the terraces and really comfortable beds. The owners were incredibly helpful and quick to respond to our numerous requests for highchairs, travel cots and all sorts. There was even an offer of babysitting, had we needed it.
On arrival, the fridge was stocked with cold beer and Cava and breakfast was kindly provided at our request. We couldn't have asked for better service!
The kids pool was great for our little ones aged 2 and 6 and we often had it to ourselves. We all appreciated the beautifully kept gardens and the large salt-water pool. The pool cafe and kiosk were not open, but as it was early in the season, we expected that.
You do need a car to get into Nerja and the beach, if you have a child who uses a buggy.
All in all, it was superb value for money and we certainly recommend it.

“Cosy, friendly home from home!”
Reviewed 12 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Just back after lovely week in Nerja. Villa was perfect for our family and owner very helpful. Answered all queries straight away and left helpful notes and fizz. Gardens and pool were lbeautiful and we all loved the fishpond. Enjoyed walk to beach. As has been said before, path steep at the end but was not a problem for us, including children. Work being done on it to make it wider and more regular while we were there. Walked to town via beach as quicker than road. Would perhaps hire car next time but manged perfectly well with taxis. Thanks again Harry and Morag for a lovely stay.

“Lovely holiday home in beautiful surroundings”
Reviewed 30 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We had a lovely holiday at Casablanca 49 in Oasis Capistrano. The house itself is very well equiped with everything needed to eat in the property, go to the beach and generally relax. Swordfish on the BBQ being one of the highlights of the holiday!
Oasis Capistrano is a lovely quiet area with beautiful gardens and tropical pools all maintained to an extremely high standard.
We found the walk by the aquaduct down to Burriana beach which is a great beach for teenagers with kayaking etc.
Definitely would stay in this house again.

“Super holiday home in safe environment”
Reviewed 3 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

A super 3 bedroom villa with all the amenities you need, well presented , clean and super views of well maintained gardens along with sea view. A very safe location on a secured complex site with 2 community pools, which are safe clean and ideal for families or couples. The owners gave me confidence in our booking with regular communication and contact right until the end of our holiday, supermarket & bars within short walking distance, beach a 10 min walk away. Many thanks for a super relaxing holiday. Richard & Mandy B.

“Beautiful and comfortable villa in Nerja”
Reviewed 22 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

The villa is in a truly superb location and very well equipped - probably the best equipped SC property we have rented - which I suspect is down to the owners using the property themselves when it is not let out. There were 5 adults in our party (mostly family) and it would accommodate 6 comfortably. The gardens are so good the locals come and have their wedding photographs taken in them. Nerja is a gem of a town if you are looking for a more relaxed vibe and want to avoid the high rise coasta del sol experience. Lots of good restaurants in in the old part of town and well worth the taxi ($7) or the walk (20-25 mins). You can still get to the main beach in 10-15 mins taking shortcut by rough/dusty lane next to the aqueduct (seen from the balcony) but the slope and steps are quite steep at the bottom. Highly recommended.

“Excellent family holiday”
Reviewed 22 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We stayed here with our 3 children at the beginning of the Easter holidays. The place is easy to find lots of space with all facilities. Great views and only 10 minutes easy walk to the beach.

“A Tropical Paradise”
Reviewed 16 September 2013 for a stay in August 2013

This villa was clean, very comfortable, well furnished, with plenty of wardrobe space, and a small but excellently equipped kitchen. The views were fabulous, surrounded as it was with palm trees and amazingly colourful tropical plants. The two showers were brilliant, with very good water pressure. There are a few steps leading up to the front door, so it is unsuitable for wheelchair access, but even with arthritis and a walking stick, I managed it easily. The owner is the friendliest, most helpful one I have ever come across. He gave us some really great suggestions for car hire, eating out etc. Nerja is a lovely, lively town, and has something for everyone. We very much liked the beach at Burriana. If you are feeling fit, try walking to it on the path by the viaduct, much quicker than walking by road. Otherwise, taxis are reasonable and very efficient - we never had to wait more than five minutes, and all the drivers seem to have some English. Our group of six, ages varying from 46 to 74, had a fabulous holiday. Casablanca 49 isn't just a holiday let, it's a real home - but better!
