One can't easily actually visit it- just stop on the roadside and take a few pictures. they should really arrange easy foot access to it

Caught the bus to Maro to see this amazing sight. Wonderful piece of architecture, an excellent chance to take some photos.

shame it is just in the middle of your bus ride to the Caves, and a long walk from Nerja, but stunning to see it.

There is a pleasant walk down the gorge from the bridge on the old road. The track comes out at a small beach - path is rather overgrown in places so i would advise wearing trainers. You have to come back the same way.Ignore any guide books that tell you that it is possible to go along a clifftop path eastwards - we were told this path no longer exists due to coastal erosion.

you can also walk higher up the gorge, but we didnt try walking all the way through the gorge.

Taxi driver en route to caves pointed this landmark out. An impressive sight with an interesting history.
