“Lovely stay with excellent service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2014

Jolly nice hotel. Not too big but everyone very friendly. When I realised how far away from Gibraltar it was, I had to cancel the last night which was a really great shame but the hotel were so helpful in facilitating this. The room and west facing balcony was lovely with small fridge. No tea making facilities, so no night time green tea, although I am sure that if I had asked them for a mug of boiling water it would have been no problem. We only had 1 meal in the hotel as we wanted to be out and about over our 3 days, but it was delicious. Grilled aubergine that was as light as a feather in tasty batter. And lastly the pool was not too small.

Room Tip: I liked the west facing balcony as it meant that early evening before going out you could relax in t...

My lovely wife booked this hotel for our family so we could have a couple of additional days on our annual holiday together before going to the villa we rented. We had low expections due to the reviews but were satisfied with what we got for our money. It was comfortable, clean and service was excellent. In particular Charlotte made our stay memorable in a good way. When we ate the food was good and a good price. I

This is a three star hotel and the rooms are what you would expect, medium sized, attractive blue rustic furniture, clean tidy bathroom, tiny balcony. I give it five stars here for the 'extras'. The two single beds put together were huge and very comfortable - great for very tall people like us, the air con was quiet and efficient and, mainly, the staff were so friendly and helpful.

We stayed for one night so that we did not have to drive home after a late night concert in the caves. Perfect location for that, easy on site parking and a few minutes walk up to the caves. We had the fixed price lunch which was very good, they put together a pre-concert snack for us and the breakfast the next day was plentiful and varied, including numerous cups of coffee after our late night.

We didn't use the pool but it looked very pleasant and clean. The function rooms looked excellent, well worth considering for a special event.

This hotel is not in central Nerja but is very well located for visiting the area. Near the main road but that certainly didn't disturb our sleep in our large comfy beds.

Very good value for money

Thanks to Charlie for such a warm welcome.

This was our 7th visit to this lovely little family owned hotel. Each time we visit the owners spend money on improving some of the rooms with new decor and furnishings. The staff are fantastic from the cleaners up and cannot do enough for you. Blessing who has been there a number of years is a wonderful asset to the hotel. The food is very good and well presented with local produce. The hotel restaurant is used by locals which is a good indication. The hotel is a five mimute drive to Nerja and is only a few hundred yards from the awesome caves which are a must to visit. All rooms have a view to the sea and alhough the main road runs near to the hotel it is nothing to be put off by. Well recommended for value and hospitality.

This hotel is actually a few minutes drive outside of Nerja, but it was easy to find, however a car is essential for freedom. The rooms were quite small and basic, but were clean and air conditioned. The pool area and garden was clean and we'll kept with plenty of sun beds. We stayed for 2 nights and had lunch on the first day, and dinner on the second night. Both meals were very good. Food and drinks were reasonably priced, and mealtimes were very flexible. Breakfast is buffet style and is the usual European Fayre, bread, cold meats, cheese etc.
All in all a very good hotel and an enjoyable stay.

We attended a wedding here and really enjoyed our stay at this hotel the food and drinks was very nice and the staff was very polite and friendly the hotel was clean and tidy the weather was a bonus with lovely sunshine we would definitely stay at this hotel again although you do need a car to get around as there is nothing near by but if you want rest and relaxation with excellent food and drinks then this little hotel is perfect .

This was a second visit and this time I stayed for two nights to do some walking in the nearby Natural Park. I arrived at 10 pm in the evening but was still in time for a good dinner, which I'd booked in advance for 9 euros. The following day I walked up Pico del Cielo and then came back to the hotel for a couple of beers and another good dinner. The next day I walked out to Frigiliana. My room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast too was good. The two receptionists I dealt with were both friendly and spoke excellent English.
