Walked past this place one evening and spotted the pretty terraced area so popped in for a drink. No one bothered to come over to take our order so had to go in search for a member of staff. They were found inside doing nothing (they were not busy). Our wine was dumped on the table without a word so we decided to drink up and go elsewhere. We were charged more than 3 eurose a glass which is unacceptable as far nicer places were charging under 2 euros (including our 4 star hotel). Not worth a visit at all and they should be ashamed of themselves.By far the worst place we went to in Nerja.

Room Tip: Did not use hotel only the outside bar so can not comment on the hotel itself but would not be tempt...

I have been to Nerja 5 times. Never have I come across a more cold welcome. We stopped here for a drink after dinner on our way back to the apartment and were initially met with a very cold meeting. We were basically informed they do not usually "do just drinks" but we could sit down. Probably should have left at that stage but thought we should give them a chance giving that the setting is so beautiful.... NO!! Asked after that could we make a booking for dinner for 2 days later and were met with "yes what time"? And then he left. .. the entire staff were so preoccupied with a party of 12 they were finishing off that they had no interest in dealing with us. Sad so say that this place has so much potential and in a perfect setting, it really disappointed .... and that's an understatement!!

This hotel is superbly positioned in the centre of Nerja (just a very short walk from the nearest public car park). Everything you need in Nerja centre is on the doorstep. We stayed in Room 3 (the master suite) which was finished to a very high standard, has a four poster bed and is VERY large (the largest of the 6 bedrooms). It has a balcony to sit out on overlooking the attractive garden and dining area (very pleasant live music is performed in the evenings to entertain the diners - was a pleasure to listen to from the balcony) and has a fabulous bathroom with double steam shower, double sinks and a Jacuzzi bath tub! The roof top pool is small but delightful - the Balcon De Europe can be seen from the roof terrace and is only a stones throw away. Reception is not totally 24 hour but you have your own front door key to the hotel lobby so are free to come and go as you please. There is a restaurant and an A La Carte restaurant at the hotel. The hospitality from the British Owners was very warm and welcoming - it was a pleasure to stay at this little gem of a hotel and we will definitely be staying there (in room 3) again when we return to Nerja each year. For a romantic break away we would definitely recommend trying this lovely hotel (especially room 3/master suite!) Worth every penny!

Room Tip: The master suite/room 3 is the best room in the house - it is large, has a four poster bed, tons of...

I have coming to nerja for nearly twenty years and only entered this hotel once. Once to many times. We were a group of four adults and four children and one infant looking for a nice dinner for a birthday celebration so we went in and were seated quickly. the very nice waiter was witty and knowledgeable about their menu. Fine we thought ,good night ahead. First negative, their was no high chair . OK baby sat in her chair, second negitive, children's menu of 3 choice s only 2 available.. got the drinks and ordered the children's food along with our own. 3 ordered from the all a carte and one from their 14.95 3 course set menu.kids food arrived about 20 miutes later. Another 10 minutes for our starters . Kids finished and we finished the starters.30 minutes later wewere still waiting in the main s to arrived.I asked the waiter why a table of 8 who sat down after us had been served ahead of us . He was standing beside the owner/hostesses/ manangeress who was more interested in changing her dress as she changed 3 times in the 2 hours we waisted here. Any way she barked at the waiter and the food arrived ten minutes later. Wrong mains for 2 of us and the well done steak we ordered was medium.it went back with the waiter muttering .at this stage the kids were bored as the were not allowed to go on the grass in the gardens beside
Our table. I took the kids for a walk as the others were finishing their mains.I returned to find the owner in the hallway and I asked to speak to her. She darted in to kitchen and the waiter said she was busy doing the menu of something.at this stage I thanked the waiter and told him I would leave a review on trip advisor.I feel sorry for him trying to work in a place like this .over all the food when it arrived was good and the waiter was good but the manner in quick we were treated was very 1* and not 3 * as the hotel is listed.I would really like a response from the hotel
WiFi is still broken

We stumbled across the hotel with a 14 euro menu of the day; we chose a warm salad of eels, cod and veg followed by choc brownies. All very nice. Jug of sangria for 12 euros. Outside seating and a live Spanish guitarist. A great start to our week.

This hotel used to be 2 houses and the rooms are beautiful. Very spacious with 20 foot ceilings and a lovely courtyard dining area.
I will definitely stay here again. It was spotless and immaculate except for one detail. If it hadn't been for this one detail, I would have rated this gorgeous place a 5.
There was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and black dirt was caked onto the jets. I NEVER use jacuzzi tubs as I feel they are quite germ ridden and seeing this really upset me because I DO like to soak in a tub vs a shower. I'm sure this was just an oversight, the cleaning staff will be informed, and the problem will be non existant in the future.
The staff were very polite and friendly and I loved it here.
