Or maybe just my favourite bar!
Usually pop in on way back to the villa when staying in Nerja.
Opens late, always friendly and a warm reception.
Great place for a beer, even better for a gin - really good range.
Menu looks good but I have to say I've never eaten there, usually go in on way home from eating someplace else.
Situated just down from the fountain roundabout near the Parador, if your anywhere near there seek it out, it's a lovely bar.

Carlos is such a lovely man and the service is good. Lovely red wine and good measures for spirits. Visit every time we go to Nerja and are always warmly welcomed. Highly recommended.

Good food and drinks. Cool terrace when it's very hot. It little out of the way but worth visiting. The toilets and the bar in general are very clean.

Ok where do i start? If your thinking of going to this bar then the good news is you've found Nerja, which in my opinion is the best holiday resort in spain. With it's cobbled streets and trendy little bars dotted around, this is the perfect town for anyone who doesn't like the 18-30 type fiasco. This is the first time iv'e been to Nerja and it definately wont be the last! La Ferreteria which apparently means the " Hardware store", , from what i could gather,is an old hardware store thats been converted into a stylish, elegant and laid back, lounge style bar. Carlos the proprietor, could not be more accomodating and you never get that feeling of he's just doing it for the money. Patricia, the barmaid, is an absolutely lovely girl, who makes you feel instantly welcome.
I must admit i only went into this bar because i was gasping, i thought it was going to be one of those really expensive places because of the chic interior design, but it turned out to be one of the cheapest bars in town with easily the best atmosphere i was just gutted when i found out they were closed on a Sunday. The food is amazing, try the fajitas and nachos, I dont know how they do it!!!!!! I want to go back to Nerja soon! And i'll definately be going to La Ferreteria.

Have visited this bar numerous times over the last 6 years and have never been disappointed . Food is excellent and good value. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. The cleanliness of the bar and facilities is the best l have ever come across . This bar is a place you must visit when staying in Nerja. We visit here every time we are in Nerja. Carlos is no doubt the best host there is. Do visit, you will not be disappointed. Kevin & Jackie Close. England.
