Casa Charlotte is for me a place like 'coming home'. Everything you need, is present. Even radio and tv-channels like home. When I was there alone it is fine to hear your own language. When the children are with, they like to see the tv-programs like home.
No need of cooking. A lot of restaurants are there. But if you want, the bakery, the supermarket, the typical spanish foodstores are just on the corner. Everything within walking distance. No car needed.
Besides that the owner and his wife are friendly, helpful and enjoyable.
Nerja has beaches, tourist area's (Balcon d'Europe, caves), restaurants, shops, promenade, small passages ...
In a word Nerja, specially Casa Charlotte, is a place 'to be'. A paradise!

We have just spent 2 weeks in Cassa Charlotta. Its is a very comfortable welcoming well equipped flat. We were in the ground floor flat, which was completely wheelchair accessible. The owners Frans and Nutte were very warm and helpful, making sure we were ok and comfortable, nothing was too much trouble for them. The bathroom was completely accessible and even had a washing machine. The kitchen was very well equipped with first quality equipment. Next door was a resteraunt which delivered wonderful fish and paella directly to our table. Cassa Charlotte was in a posistion with the local spanish people who were most welcoming.

Recently stayed at Casa Charlotte, incredibly clean and well stocked kitchen. Frans and Nutte, the owners, went above and beyond to see that we were comfortable and had what we needed. Took extra care to point out local flair and favorites (not listed in the books we read!). Relaxing, close to the beach, dining and shopping; easy to get in your car and go explore. A true gem in the Costa del Sol - not built up like much of the surrounding areas. A very warm and homey feeling, hope to return soon.

My husband and I visited Spain for 2 weeks, and the highlight of our trip was Nerja. We stayed at Casa Charlotte for 5 nights (not nearly long enough!) and loved, loved, loved the apartment. It was squeaky clean, very well organized and set up with everything and more that we needed. The location for us was fantastic for several reasons: it was on a quiet street yet it was walking distance to the Balcony, to Playa Burriana, to wonderful, wonderful restaurants and tapas bars and was close distance to several towns worth visiting. Frans and Nuttee were great and made us feel comfortable and right at home. They made it a point to make sure that every question we had was answered in order to make our stay memorable. An unexpected touch was that Frans took us on a tapas tour - I suppose he did it to show off his wonderful town. I wish them both well and hope someday to come back and enjoy a longer stay.

It was my first time at the Spanish Costa del Sol and i must say i am so happy i chose Casa Charlotte for this trip!
First of all the town is beautiful, a little typical town like in the movies, little white streets filled with tapas bars and cozy restaurants, and right in the middle a beautiful and colorful house called Casa Charlotte.
It's just 5 minutes away from the "Balcon de Europa", 5 mins away from the beach. Excellent location! And the house with all you need to have the best holidays ever! No matter if you go with your complete family or just the 2 of you, the house is fully equipped for all your necessities.
The hosts Natee & Frans are the perfect hosts! They will help you with all you nned to know about the town, surroundings, places to go dine, etc etc...
Definitely i would recommend this place to anybody!

In this wonderful Spanish city, there is a nice appartment to stay. The owner, Frans, takes care of all your "worries", so you can relax en enjoy your holiday. We had Wifi, satellite television,... We stayed already in several appartments in this city and Casa Charlotte was our best experience.

Nerja is special, but the stay gets an extra dimension when staying in Casa Charlotte, a fully renovated Andalucian-type building situated in the old part of the town, but only minutes away from the famous Balcon de Europa. The shops and tapas restaurants you need are within 50 metres.
Being a regular guest since 2002, we have had the opportunity to stay in all three flats, from the one at the ground floor with facilities for disabled persons, the one at first floor with an extra room to the the smaller one at the top with it's own beautiful terrace. Just the right size for a romantic couple no matter the age! And there is a second communal terrace on the very top with BBQ facilities, fridge, sun lounge, and beautiful flowers all over the place which of course is the work of Nuttee. All the flats are fully equipped with every imaginable kitchenware of very good quality, air condition, heating and TV/HiFi and large selection of CDs. There is also a small "library" with a good selection of books in English, German, French and even a few Scandinavian titles.
Frans and Nuttee are always there to greet us when we arrive and when we leave. They are incredibly friendly and helpful and they are only a phone call away. Ten minutes later they are around to help you. no matter the problem. The tapas tour when you arrive is just great . An excelent start where Frans & Nuttee provide you with all the information you need to have a holiday you will remeber for a long time. By staying in Casa Charlotte, you couldn't ask for a better accommodation. We feel like staying at home!
