Just spent a wonderful 3 nights in Amadeus apartment...... Fabulous place with every small detail taken care of. Martina and Zoe were fabulous hosts and if you want the privacy of your own terrace overlooking Morocco then treat yourself and stay in Amadeus! Great information in the apartments and everything within walking distance! We will certainly be back.... We almost drove away with the apartment key we were that sad to leave!

We stayed four nights at these wonderful apartments, in the Palmar room. The location is absolutely perfect with the old town right out the door or just around the corner. We were met by both Zoe and Martina immediately on arrival and were assisted with unloading luggage and locating a perfect free parking spot about 75 meters away. We booked a day in Morocco and their suggested guide, Said, was absolutely excellent. Other reviewers are correct that both Zoe and Martina definitely know their way around with respect to Morocco. Our day trip was smooth and flawless! We also spent a day at Gibraltar and Martina had great suggestions for parking, etc. While this "B&B" actually does not have breakfast included, there is a little cafe named Bossa Bar/Cafe only a two minute walk away that has several topped pancake and scrambled egg items. We had breakfast there three of the four days there. Lunches and dinners were also excellent at the restaurants recommended by Dar Cilla.

Room Tip: The Palmar room is on the top floor toward the back with direct access to the rood terrace.

We were recommended Tarifa by some friends who live in land from Malaga about 3 years ago and are now wondering why it took us so long to get there - we loved it.
Zoe and Martina at Dar Cilla were extremely kind and helpful and with all the information provided and a very handy book written by Zoe we well and truly got the best out of our holiday, there is so much to see and do.
We booked the Amadeus room which is outstanding, beautiful, huge space with moroccan furniture and accessories and the best Terrace imaginable. Fantastic views over to Morocco, we were lucky as the Levante wind only appeared towards the very end of our holiday, but we took advantage of that and watched all the surfers and kite surfers on the sea. The location is perfect, just walk out the door and through the arch into the Old Town, restuarants, tapas, bars and shops galore. Thankfully not ruined by anything like a starbucks or macdonalds, all beautifully Spanish with a Moroccan influence. We will be back, thank you for such a fantastic week. x

Room Tip: If you want the amazing Terrace to yourself (as there is a huge communal terrace for Dar Cilla guest...

What a delightful stay. We booked two nites as we had a day trip planned to Tangiers and Dar Cilla turned out to be the perfect choice. Great location, comfortable room, and gracious hosts. They think of every tiny detail and we felt well cared for. Be sure to visit the rooftop terrace.

Room Tip: They do have kitchenettes available, a nice plus for us after two weeks of restaurants.

zoe, the owner, is a real marocco afinado and her manageress, martina, as well.
we enjoyed our two nights in dar cilla, but especially the advice and assistance in booking our excursion to marocco, chefchaouen.
martina's advice was not just great, but saved us at least euro 150.- on ferry and taxi in marocco.
- the accomodation is spacious, tasteful and great, especially the roof terrace.
we come back gladly, if dar cilla is available...

We stayed at Dar Cilla last week for three nights. We were sorry that previously made plans took us away! There are no misrepresentations on the Dar Cilla website. The multi-lingual Martina and Zoe could not have been more hospitable, helpful and informative, with advice on the very best tapas bar, and advice for our day trips to Gibralter and Morocco. The second floor unit we had was regionally authentic, clean, comfortable, and seemed like home. The roof deck is very large, well furnished, and the views across to Africa spectacular. The establishment actually is in part incorporated in the old wall of the historic fortified old city. Parking was easy, just a minute away. The harbor, the town center, the ferry to Tangier are all a short walk away. No need to use your car, unless you want to take a day trip to Gibralter (35 minutes) or some other outlying settlement. We cannot say enough good about Dar Cilla…stay there, we will again.

We booked last minute (the day before) Martina was super great, informative, friendly and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful albeit each a little different. We were there in winter and our worry was that the rooms might be cold. Not so at all. Beautifully decorated with everything you need to cook etc. Highly recommended as well is the awesome roof top. My personal only gripe and this didnt affect the rest of our party, was that the sound proofing between us and the top floor left little to the imagination at times. But other than that great people great location and great place.

Room Tip: We were on the raised ground floor with our bedroom overlooking the small passage (it was a little n...
