This is a modern, cosy, clean one-bedroom apartment located just off Los Lances beach and about ten minutes walk from the centre of Tarifa. The apartment can sleep 4, as there is a bed in the living-room and also the sofa is wide enough to be used as a bed.
The apartment has a balcony which is separated from the street by perspex windows; the balcony faces an unused parking lot and some shops on the far side, one of which is a good supermarket of the Mercadona chain.
Note that the bed in the living-room is at the expense of a dining table there; instead, the dining table is on the balcony. This will not be an issue for most of the year; but, in winter, it is a little too cold to be dining on the balcony. Having said that, the living-room does contain a coffee table, which may be sufficient for many.
The apartment comes with a parking space in an underground parking lot; however, the entrance to the lot and the inside of the lot are quite tight, so one has to be careful in parking.
The apartment is well supplied with crockery and utensils, and the photos provided are an accurate reflection of the apartment. There is a large (about 40") smart TV, and there is no WiFi limit, so one can download as much Youtube or other content as desired, and also one can play one's own media.
The owner, Marco, is a nice guy and very responsive to any queries.
I highly recommend this property.

All the good things about the appartment :
- the appartment was absolutely very clean and it smelled fresh (very important).
- the welcome package (food and drinks to make a good start the next day without having to go to the supermarket immediately) was a nice surprice (much appreciated).
- the appartment is very cosy and also very practical.
- the kitchen is very well equipped (surprisingly well).
- there is plenty of space to store your stuff in the badroom (always nice).
- the quality of the beds is very good.
- the wifi works perfectly.
- the parking space in the garage is very useful, as well as the storage room (just perfect to leave all the kite gear there).
- the location is very good : quiet neighbourhood, but walking distance to the city center (nice promenade along the beach).
- best location for kitesurfing : just accross the appartment or a short ride to Valdevaquenos beach (kiting is possible in each type of wind).
- the supermarket across the street is very convenient.
- All the tips from the owner about restaurants and sightseeing spots are very useful.
- beautiful swimming pool in the garden (which was closed unfortunately, but you warned us about this in advance).
So, as I said, everything was exactly as described in the offer and our communication with the owner. No unpleasant surprises whatsoever upon arrival.

Marco's appartment is a real gem. Modern interior with all the things you need.
There even was a 'welcome package' with some water, cheese, bread, etc. Great to arrive to this.
The kitchen has equipment you might need; that sharp knife that's always missing, the ice cubes to cool your drink, it's all in the appartment. Even a dishwasher.
The beds are comfortable, altough a bit short. Tall people will have their feet sticking out.
WiFi is good. TV is very nice, and can connect to your phone and laptop easily. I streamed many kite movies while staying there.
Please note that to reach the bathroom you would need to go to the bedroom. This might be a problem when you are staying with more than 2 people.
It's located close to the supermarket, and the outside terrace is good for working or relaxing a little.
Only thing missing is the ocean view.
