We stayed for 3 nights in late September. Our primary reason for choosing this hotel/town was its proximity to El Teide mountain which is about an hour drive from town. Our room was on the main floor overlooking the pool. It was comfortable and had a nice bathroom. It was still quite warm in September so we had to keep the windows open at night. Unfortunately this invited the mosquitoes in and we were kept up pretty late at night trying to kill them! I wish more European countries used screens!
The only reason I didn't give it 5-stars was because we ended up renting a car to drive to the town and there are only 3 parking spots for the hotel for about six rooms. If we went anywhere in the evening, there was never parking when we came back at night and it is nearly impossible to find parking in the town. We found it to be very stressful.
We were also subject to a painting tour exclusively in Spanish which mostly fell upon deaf ears since neither I nor my boyfriend speaks fluent Spanish, which was conveyed to the hotel owner. The doorbell/lock situation is also a bit quirky. Probably wouldn't stay here again but enjoyed our visit.More
