Dali was a genius. I felt like I got a strange trip into his head. So many hidden details are in this building. At one point I just happened to look at a random hole in the wall, and on the other side of the wall was a room lit up like a neon green terrarium with a small waterfall and an animal skull on a white bed. Bring some coins to put in the coin-operated art!

Even if you are not a Dali fan this is amazing and wonderfully done. I could have stayed for hours! Its the work of a genius! Also go to the jewels just around the corner and they are truly spectacular (I don't use that word lightly)

If you like Dali's work or not this Theatre-Museum is really worth of visit. It is surely not boring! We had a very knowledgeable guide, Ani, who made us to understand the man behind his work. Really educational 2-3 hours.

This place just gives a flavour of the eccentric genius that was Salvador Dali. His jewellery collection is not to be missed. Give yourself plenty of time to absorb the atmosphere and the paintings

The museum is open until quite late so I went about 1700 on a week day. There was no no queue to get in. It was not busy. The building is unique and perfect for displaying Dali’s unique pieces. He was prolific and there is a lot to see. A few pieces are animated and require euros to operate but mainly you just wander from one thought provoking room to another. Dali was prolific and there are many hundreds of pieces displayed, some enormous, some tiny. I’m not sure one visit is enough.
