I was exploring in Roses through the little alleyways of shops and eateries when I spotted a couple who were in my tour group. They had just finished their lunch and recommended the lemon ice cream (limon helado) which was served inside the skin of a lemon. I had to have one and I 'm very glad I did because it was fantastic - just the thing on a hot day. The restaurant itself was long and narrow but shaded from the sun and looked as though it would be lovely for an evening meal as well. Unfortunately we did not have time to try it for that, but I would recommend it as a place to visit. The service was friendly and altogther it was a very enjoyable unexpected find.
