“weekend break”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 November 2013

stayed here for the weekend at the beginning of November - and what a great weekend we had. The entertainment team were amazing, really professional and Adam was sooo funny he made the evening. The tribute band to queen were top class. Highly recommended .

We stayed here with our clients with learning disabilities and we were not disappointed. Upgraded to signature rooms without asking.huge king size beds with drinks, flat screen tv /DVD player and huge bath. Food was served to the table by waitress from a selection of choices. Full use if the amenities, swimming pool and enjoyed relaxing massages. The surrounding gardens beautiful with a great park close by. Historic rooms to discover and afternoon tea in the drawing room . Celebrity music weekends to dance the evening away and professional staff to entertain you every night. Dressing for dinner each night and made to feel like royalty.
Love the Warner's holidays so much , cannot fault them. Well worth every penny . Cannot wait to discover another magical hotel.

Quite exceptional Hotel set in magnificent grounds. The food was excellent the room first class.
The evening entertainment was as good as any West End show!

All in all a first class trip!
The whole trip was enhanced by the surrounding countryside quite magnificent with trips available to the glorious Cotswalds and the superb city of Bath. Plenty of in house activities including a
most interesting talk dealing with Jane Seymour ,a local heroine, and Henry V111.

Earmarked for a return.

Room Tip: suggest any room overlooking the formal garden

Our first visit to this Warners hotel and we enjoyed every minute. The food was excellent, the staff very attentive and well mannered. Every night we had a varied and professional entertainment schedule. The team of performers were superb. The location has much to offer in respect of history and countryside. In easy reach of so many attractions, Liitlecote is a must visit Warners hotel.

Room Tip: Book early

We enjoyed a 4 day break in this beautifully developed and maintained hotel. The building itself was fascinating, with the different parts of the house covering different historic periods. We had a Signature room which was large, well-fitted and very comfortable. The walk-in shower was excellent. We were surprised at just how far we had to walk from our room to Reception and beyond to the restaurant. Any prospective guest with walking difficulties should take this on board and speak to the friendly and helpful booking staff to select a conveniently situated room.

The food was well-presented, appetising and served piping hot. We had a light lunch in the bar on 2 of the days of our stay, which was very pleasant.

We have enjoyed the evening entertainment in Warner hotels before, but this time we did not partake, having made other arrangements.

We intend to return in the New Year. They have some excellent value-for-money offers.

There is extensive parking on site located all around the buildings - but it is still difficult to find a space. A few rooms in the old building have dedicated parking spaces which is an advantage. A small amount of Blue badge parking was provided - but the bays were small and always fully occupied.

Room Tip: Check on room location when booking if at all impaired. Only one lift to serve rooms above ground le...

Having spent three nights at Littlecote at the end of August I was disappointed with one or two things eg. broken toilet seat, extractor fan not working, creaking floor boards from the room above, these were reported to reception but nothing was done, The entertainment was good in its content but excessively loud, I have sent a letter and an Email to the management pointing out my concerns but as of yet they have not given me the courtesy of a reply it seems to me that they don't care about customer satisfaction.

Littlecote House is situated in acres of beautiful grounds with lovely gardens and walks. It has excellent leisure and sporting facilities. Outdoors is a bowling green, a putting green, a croquet lawn and two tennis courts. The indoor leisure centre has a swimming pool, sauna and offers spa treatments. Littlecote House is well worth a wander, being an atmospheric Grade 1 Listed Tudor mansion.
We were delighted by our Signature Room. Six foot bed, large TV, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, DVD player and 2 chairs round a table by the window overlooking a stream and woods. Room was cleaned to a very high standard.
On our first night we reserved a table for dinner in Oliver’s, which is very stylish, and enjoyed a delicious meal. The other evenings we ate in the Popham Restaurant which offered a good choice of three courses with waiter service or carvery serving delicious roasts. Breakfast was a very good selection including full English or continental breakfast of a good quality. Waiting staff were charming.
Our weekend was a 60s theme. On the first night Union Gap were superb. Sunday evening was also a highlight with a fabulous 50s and 60s concert performed by the Littlecote Players and resident band. A hugely talented group of young entertainers. The concert was preceded by a hilarious version of Mr and Mrs, brilliantly hosted by Adam Humphreys
We enjoyed the beginners ballroom classes, the table tennis and croquet. There were many other activities if time had allowed. Heavy rain washed out our archery, so instead we had a wonderful time watching the Littlecote Players perform the cricket based play Outside Edge.
A feature of the weekend was the friendliness of the Warners team who generated a lovely atmosphere. The other guests were lovely too! Our first Warners break and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A big thank you to all.
