If you are thinking of booking a Warners holiday it would be a great time to go to Littlecote House. At the moment the Entertainments team is fantastic....They are hardworking, committed they can really act, sing and dance and are putting on amazing shows. I have been to one other Warner Hotel and the comments others have made are true but this group...Dan, Byron, Lucy, Beth ,Jenna, Emily and the Stage manager Bill are extremely good and its worth booking a visit but make sure they are still the resident entertainments team. You will not be disappointed...

I am giving 5 stars because of the Entertainments team.

first time visit here with friends, to say ,,,did we enjoy our week-end,,, is an understatement!!
Food first class, beatles wk end entertainment, all first class,we laughed a lot, joined in with most stuff, all of us had a go at archery, and shooting, fantastic staff, all professional,
due to how great it all was, it make,s it difficult to complain, and our only gripe.....shower settings were fiddelly, and exasperating, as were the taps in our room, our friends had the same problem.
Also the other niggle, and that's all it was , our waiter in the restaurant needed more training., ie.leaning in front of us to clear plates or serve whilst we were eating, asking did we want our main course served, whilst our friend was still eating his starter,But he was very polite and pleasant, so difficult to moan at him!! But no sign of a head waiter that could advise him in the right direction, and put him on the right track, shame,,, that could have saved our niggle,And will definitely return, THANK-YOU EVERONE FOR MAKING OUR STAY FAB..xx

Room Tip: check before you book, if its twin or double,as we were surprised we had twin beds

I went to Littlecote House last year and the only thing that let it down was the evening entertainment, unfortunately there has not been an improvement on this. The team tried hard, but the lady "singers" couldn't sing. The resident band was also a disappointment, not really knowing what type of music to play for the dancers - missing beats and playing the wrong music for particular dances. Our rooms were also below the usual standard, tired and missing finishing touches. The saving grace for this hotel was the restaurant, excellent food and service. The main house and wonderful gardens are also excellent. I went with a group of friends and despite our issues we had a good time and will go back. Hopefully things will improve and complaints listed to.

Having been to Bembridge for many years we decided to go with some friends to Littlecote, but we were very disappointed. The signature rooms were very tired and not cleaned, and the two lady singers with the resident band were awful could not sing without reading the words of a sheet of paper, missing the beginning of the songs, as well as losing there way half way through the songs. The entertainment team were good but not as good as Bembridge. The food was to the normal Warners standard plenty of choice. I think the saving grace for Littlecote is the wonderful gardens and the historic house.

I know that Warners have great locations and excellent hotels with no kids! That is why we choose them. We were a group of four friends who wanted to go away on a reasonably priced break in a nice area not too far from home. Warners provided that. We weren't looking for 5 star accomodation- the room was pleasant- beds were comfortable and a nice bathroom.
The food was excellent- we did avoid the 6.30 rush! and got to our table at about 7.30. (Nice drink in the bar before dinner.)The noise had gone down by then as the masses were being feed! You do have to walk slowly sometimes behind a line all with sticks, but that's what it is all about- chilling down a bit and relaxing. Here you can do it. The staff are very well trained and so polite and attentive at all times- I was very impressed by that. One of my friends had a birthday (which we were not celebrating) mentioned to our waiter (Paulio) and next morning he had made a card for her- just such a lovely thoughtful touch. As was the effort made by housekeeping to find a vase to put her flowers in which she had brought with her.

My friend used the pool twice and loved it. I walked the grounds which are very extensive. The evening entertainment was excellent- well done to them all. There was also some other good fun- we took part in some of the quizzes and won two of them- I now have two key rings! I think you should be a bit more generous in your prizes, at Bembridge we got book marks which are a bit more upmarket!
The setting is great and the old house very interesting as are the roman ruins- I don't think you make the most of yourselves- you are sitting on a gold mine.
I personally wouldn't spend a lot more to stay in the old house as you can still enjoy all the same amenities from the main hotel and loads of nearby parking to every room in the hotel.
Overall a great break- but I was with great friends. If I wanted real luxury I would go elsewhere.

Room Tip: If you have trouble walking ask for one closer to the central area. I heard lots of grips about the...

Having visited 5 other Warner's hotels this is one to which we will not be returning. On arrival we found it very difficult to find a parking space, eventually found one on soft unmade ground a considerable distance from reception (disabled spaces very limited).Room was adequate but bathroom rather tired. We thought the food in the main dining room was quite good with plenty of choice. The entertainment in comparison to other hotels was inferior in most areas and the band did not seem able to respond to the audience, two female singers tended to 'shout' most of the time during their act.
In conclusion l confirmed with the admin at Littlecote that we had 5 visits in two years and qualified for the concierge club, when it never arrived l spoke to the lady who deals with these at Bourne leisure who disputed that we had been to Warners 5 times (visits confirmed by Tuire at Littlecote).
Needless to say we shall not be booking number 6 and in any event standards appear to have deteriorated in recents times with a lack of investment in key areas.

Room Tip: Consider distance from main reception area etc and pre book a car parking space if possible.

The hotel was excellent and well-maintained. Unfortunately we had very wet weather during our stay. Because the hotel was organized into 4 distinct buildings: bedroom block, main hotel including bar and restaurant, leisure centre, and the historic house with library, great hall, etc., there was no shelter between each building. This was a problem for some, like me, with limited mobility,

However, on the positive side, the staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent. I've stayed in many Warners hotels in the past few years and they seem to be driving up their standards of cuisine. Well done!

Room Tip: If you have a disability, ask for a suitable room.
