Spent a lovely Friday to Monday break here. Food and accommodation was very good. We were in a signature room which was quite large and very clean with a good size bathroom. The only complaint we had was that we could not get into the Theatre for the shows as there was not enough seats for the amount of people staying.

but that doesn't mean you are perfect!
The Stuart suite in the house is very good, and spacious, but why do Warner's pillows have to be so hard?
The Entertainment team is very talented, but we hardly saw them. The team last October mingled amongst the audience - this lot were significant by their absence.
We were very unhappy with the standard of service from the bar, having paid £100 for two nights Gold VIP tables. The Cava provided on Friday night was almost undrinkable, and made my wife very ill during the night. No nibbles were provided that night. When we asked for something different the next night, we were offered a Prosseco, as long as we paid extra! For that night we received two non-alcoholic drinks and a glass of water each - hardly worth £50, even though we did get a candle on the table! And the bowl of nibbles.
The waiting staff in the main restaurant need to be better trained, and should have a better understanding of English. Two of our evening meals, and Sunday lunch were taken in the Oliver Bistro, and after our experiences in the main restaurant we would suggest this is the better option. The food in the Bistro cannot be bettered, and the staff are very helpful and good at their job. Perhaps a little of that could be needed in the main restaurant.

Room Tip: As always, go for the more expensive room. We have never found a standard room any good in any of th...

This is a lovely, historic property set in beautiful gardens. The rooms are a bit dated. The food was quite good but the waiters need to know the English language to be able to give good service. Overall we had an excellent break and lots of fun. However, if you like dancing you should be aware that the DJ disco policy is to stick on the longest most repetitive track that they can find and disappear. On our last evening, Sunday 13th July 20014, we went looking for the DJ and found him in the bar chatting with the rest of the entertainment team. We told him we were bored with the music and everybody had sat down, he came back into the disco and apologised to everybody, saying he did not realise the track was fifteen minutes long and changed it - to another track equally as long and boring and disappeared. We then found him again in the bar with a drink, chatting. When he saw us he said "what do you want now " we asked him to play a request which eventually he did and everybody began to dance but he cut it short and put on another long track and went back to the bar. As we left, passing him in the bar, he sarcastically said "Oh are you going?" We heard him and the rest of the entertainment team laughing and making disparaging remarks as we walked away from the bar. Not very professional guys! if you are reading this . It is a shame that you let yourselves and Warners down.

This was our 16th visit to Warners dating from 1997 to 2014. My Wife and I visited Littlecote from 30th June to 4th July, 2014. We had an Historic Room as we booked late. The room was quite large, but a standard room is quite adequate. We were told it had a lift to the first floor - this was not the case - we had to carry two heavy suitcases up 20 stairs. We were very lucky as the weather was beautiful - sunshine all the way from start to finish. We last visited Littlecote in 1999, but didn't notice too many changes. The gardens are still as lovely as ever. The Hotel is full of history and is worth exploring especially the Roman mosaics. The main change is the catering staff (mostly from eastern europe). Our waitress from Poland was brilliant - very efficient, polite and hard working. Warners seem to be cost cutting - our waitress was completely overworked but kept smiling throughout. The food was not as good as previous visits - the salad bar needs attention - poorly presented and unappetising. The Restaurant seats about 400 guests - we had a circular table for 2 which was totally unsuitable - far too small - things kept falling off. Square tables are the answer. I mentioned these niggles on Warners feed back form. The entertainment was excellent - the Littlecote Entertainment Team were wonderful. Their singing and dancing routines restored our confidence in Warners. On our last visit to Bembridge IOW in 2011, the entertainment was quite poor which is unlike Warners. Finally, we visited Eton and Windsor and some lovely market towns and villages nearby. Overall we had a very good break despite a few problems, and hope to visit Warners again in the near future.

Room Tip: Standard rooms are more than aqequate for short breaks

We have stayed here on several occasions as a couple and as a foursome with family members. When you arrive by car the driveway into the property is certainly very impressive. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The majority of people who stay do seem to be in their 70's to 80's. The rooms every time we have stayed are in my opinion very dated and could do with a lick of paint and new handles on bathroom doors etc. A walk in shower is better than rooms with a bath as the baths are very narrow with a shower curtain that clings to you! The main restaurant is very impressive but tables are very close to each other. The waiters/waitresses are very efficient and polite but you do feel as if they are serving very quickly to get you in and out. The Carvery is very good and you can have as much or as little as you like. The food off the menu is good and there is a reasonable choice. Breakfast is very good. The grounds of the hotel are lovely. The evening entertainment is very good but if you go often to this hotel some evenings are a bit repetitive. The Littlecote Players are excellent. If you like the all inclusive type holiday then this will possibly appeal. Due to the standard of the bedrooms though we don't think we will be staying again - unless of course the price makes it a bargain!

Room Tip: Wi-fi was only available in the bar or reception area.

I have just had the best 5 Day Break for ages. the lovely Comfy Bed,very clean Room ,had to request a Feather Pillow due to Neck Problems, but nothing was too much trouble from the Cleaners to the Entertainers, Waiting Staff and Bar Staff. I was so impressed to have such a Beautiful Garden to stroll about in at my Leisure to stop and have a Coffee outside The Hall , I felt like Lady of the Manor everyone so friendly , I am now going to try Holme Lacy, I have decided to stay in the UK now fed up with thr Airport Chaos, this is so much easier and nicer.Thankyou Warners.

Room Tip: Next time I would ask for a Ground Floor Room with A Verandah with Table and Chairs as it was quite...

We booked a room very last minute to go and stay at Littlecote for one night on a Saturday. The venue was fantastic, beautiful grounds and lovely to be able to walk around Littlecote house which is really interesting. Unfortunately there was a wedding on during our stay so the staff were a little pre-occupied when we checked in and having never stayed at a Warners venue before we were a bit unsure of where to go, whats included etc... The reception staff were not very helpful in this respect.
The room we had was nice, although we booked a double and the room had twin beds this was not an issue for us. Everything in the room was very clean and we had everything we needed.
We wanted to have a nice dinner that evening so decided to book into Oliver's Bistro for something a bit special - when we asked at reception we were told that the Bistro was closed all evening due to the wedding. This was very dissapointing considering we had not been informed when we booked the room.
We went to the main resturant where we were seated on a table in-between 2 other couples, the tables were positioned so close together we may as well had been sat on a large table for 6! This made us feel really uncomfortable. The food didn't make our evening much better as we found it to be poor in quality, the choice was limited, alot of the food overcooked and service quite rushed. Appreciate the costs are on a half board basis but I would expected something a bit nicer.
Having looked at the hotel online we were really excited to be able to stay somewhere a bit special for an evening but came away feeling really disappointed.
