“Very good sandwiches”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

The sandwiches served here are delicious. A quality bread with a generous filling is guaranteed.

The service is top-notch as well.

We look forward to returning soon.

“Coast to Coast - 10 day challenge”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

What a fantastic gem! The Mulberry Bush firstly provided us with a much needed tea and scone (giant!) with cream and jam after our 20 miles! The family were friendly, helpful but didn't fuss. We returned for an early supper later and had the most fabulous food! Excellent quality, enough but not out faced and it tasted incredible.
What a fantastic find! Don't change anything guys you have a success story just waiting to be discovered! Keep doing what you're doing as it was all excellent! Good luck with the evening openings!

“Brilliant fish and chips”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

We had dinner at this restaurant after spending the day walking in this beautiful part of England. The fish and chips had been recommended and they lived up to our expectations. The fish was divine coated in a light batter. Chips were equally good cooked to perfection. Puddings were equally tasty especially the meringue with strawberries and raspberries! Would certainly go back again.

“Decent, if unremarkable”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

We arrived in Kirkby Stephen a little late and didn't have a lot of lunch options, so we opted for the Mulberry Bush. Overall it was a decent lunch, but fairly unremarkable. The service and prices were both OK. Our sandwiches were surprisingly large, though the side of crisps were laughably small in comparison: we each received exactly five Pringles-style crisps with our sandwich. The food was decent and I certainly wouldn't warn anyone away, but it was an average experience overall.

Thanks for your review.we Isalad and crisps are only a garnish on our sandwiches!we use quality fresh baked bread and fresh plentiful filling. Majority of our customers comment that we give quality and value for money.crisps are not our priority..
