Description: A Family friendly pub with a great atmosphere. Standing proud on the sea front of Seaham, this fantastic community pub really does offer something for everyone no matter what the day, time or occasion. Not only do we offer a fantastic and extensive food menu but this is now complemented with daily deals from Wedneday to Saturday straight from our hot deck. We have a sumptuous Sunday carvery and a brilliant weekend breakfast buffet. All of this can be enjoyed in our brilliant bar, fabulous family section or cosy snug where you can wash it all down with a pint of our very own Crow's Nest Ale or a well-deserved glass of wine. Not forgetting that the Crow's Nest is the best place around for catching up with friends.Treat yourself at the weekend and enjoy one of our great range of lagers, bucket of bottles or one of our new range of cocktails. It doesn't stop there, being part of the community we have a weekly quiz, Charity events, a monthly band and plenty of other activities to make sure that everyone feels like the Crow's Nest is home away from home

I think the crows nest has a really good atmosphere and lets face it everyone needs to say they've been there at least once but the food isn't 'amazing' its ok. People go there for the drink or family. There's nothing wrong with that. The crows nest is in a way famous and enjoyable. I know loads of people who say they really want to go to the crows nest. It is a really comfortable restaurant.

Recent refurb looks good, sadly the food still leaves a lot to be desired. The pub occupies a prime spot on the sea front and has little competition yet seems content to be mediocre at best. If you want a nice lunch I would opt for one of the smaller cafes on North Terrace than eat here. Never really been in on a night time so can't comment on atmosphere as a night time pub.

In my view the Crows nest in Seaham is a better venue than the Wetherspoons in Seaham. Both are essentially doing the same thing, but the Crows Nest is a little better.
I had fish and chips and a pint of real ale for £6.49. Good value by any standard. The fish was tasty if luke warm. But in fairness the pub was packed on a Friday evening and at the price who could complain.

As a family of 27 people attending for an 18th birthday, the staff arranged a section of the pub just for us wich worked really well. All meals we're served hot and in good timing for such a large amount. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, couldn't do enough for us . Overall great place with lovley staff and would recommend for parties and meals.
