We had the twilight voucher, which entitled us for a welcome drink, use of the facilities & a 2 course meal.
On arrival our complementary drink turned out to be a small plastic tumbler of water! The spa was slightly shabby and highly chloronated, and for the first 30mins was full of kids - hardly serene! They did all clear out and over the next hour the poolside was tidied up.
The meal however was excellent with first class service. I would probably go again but with expectations of a good hotel leisure spa rather than luxury spa as they claim.....

Get the complementary drink sorted! It is fraudulent!!

“The atmosphere is unique”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

Absolutely beautiful spa, went on a sunny day last week and felt all the stress melt away. The outdoor pools facing the woodland are just sublime and the Turkish Hammam is beautiful. This spa does not gave as many pools and steam rooms as others but it's position and beauty more than make up for that; I would place it far ahead of most other north east spas. The Ozone Restaurant is another stunning area and the cuisine is freshly prepared in an open kitchen. On the day I went it was not busy, on previous occasions there have been too many people which ruins the point of going really so I do hope this's is a conscious decision to keep numbers low. If it is I will certainly be heading back - it's truly a wonderful place.

Been a member with family for a long time and really can say its nicer than ever there has been a large investment in the place making it more enjoyable, from the sauna to the hot tubs or pool there always lovely and hot so you can get straight in and relax. We always receive a warm welcome from staff which is nice and it makes it an enjoyable place to be a must try place.

This has to be the best Spa which I have been to. From the moment that I stepped in to the Serenity Spa I knew it was going to be amazing. We were greeted with a soft drink and then taken to where the changing rooms were. The changing rooms are small but were very clean and tidy, each locker had a robe, towel and slippers. Around the pool was just heaven, comfy loungers with magazines to read, it was that relaxing I could have fallen asleep. The staff member in the pool area worked so hard ensuring that all robes and towels were folded making the place look tidy, The outdoor hot tub was great, we were at the Twilight spa, so it was lovely to sit outside at night. Sauna and Steam Room were spacious so you didn't feel crammed in.

Overall I can recommend this to anyone who just wants some time for relaxation, looking forward to returning.

“Simply Sublime!”
Reviewed 27 December 2013

Had a Spa Day at the Serenity Spa at Seaham Hall booked through Secret Escapes which included the use of the facilities, lunch at the ozone and use of slippers and robe, plus two lush treatments. Both Hubbie and I came away relaxed from this luxurious Spa. From entry to departure treat like important clients. Compliments to all staff which I encoutered throughout the day, but special mention to the "cute little Chef" who made the most delicious Belly Pork, never got his name, and therapist HAYLEY! Wonderful value for money - the Spa is the most largest and cleanest I have ever encountered and the treatment rooms luxurious! Thank you Seaham Serenity Spa for a relaxing Boxing Day; it was simply amazing. Will be back!
