Dined here during a recent stay at Seaham Hall. Dreadfully disappointing meal - 1 rosette plate displayed in reception. Later found they allegedly have 2 rosettes! Food not in line with expected standard and service lacking also - restaurant manager seated us and that was the last we saw of him. Bread burnt. Butter fridge cold. Ravioli split. Underseasoned mains. 3 crackers and a piece of stale tea bread for 5 cheeses. All in all a disastrous meal and staff that couldn't care less. Breakfast equally poor. No table ready for us. Not expected of a 5 star hotel. Still charging as though they have a michelin star.
