A pleasent welcome, cheerful team. Room clean and functional, bathroom - shower a let down. Toilet Roll holder broken/roll falls of in use !!!...small detail's but this should be taken care of by the hotel maintainence team. Breakfast was lovely.
We used the on site pub for our evening meal, and this too was a pleasure, staff, service and VFM from a typical pub grub menu.

Superb leisure facilities and very luxurious rooms. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Pub on site also and although a la carte food is good, we found it quite expensive so probably better to eat at the Farmers Arms pub.

All i wish to say is having eaten out a lot in this part of Norfolk i would say that this Restaurant has the edge on most of them, good food and good service ,,well done. my wife had the fresh soup, i enjoyed the deepfried whitebait with freshly made tartare sauce, we both enjoyed the roasted beef with handmade Yorkashire pudding and a nice selectiopn of fresh vegetables , then we both had sticky toffee pud with ice cream, well worth the money.

We went to the Carvery on Friday 11th January 2013 for a Lunchtime Carvery, there were three adults and one 2 year old. My Family and myself eat out on a regular basis. Our experience was to be one of the worst we have ever known. The Carvery itself consisted of two different meats, roast potatoes, parsnips, leeks, cauliflour, carrots and gravy, and what a mashed up mess we found it to be, the parsnips had been what clearly should have been roasted, were literally all mashed up and crushed, the rest was of substandard quality. The "Chef" told us that she had never carved off the meat before, and we were to be her guinea pigs, she was unable to carve and had to fetch another member of staff, who was not much better. We were charged £7.50 for the three adult meals and £5.50 for the two year old, this was a complete disgrace and we reported this to a member of their Staff, who did not seem to be bothered and gave us the "take it or leave it attitude". We shall needless to say not be returning to this establishment in the near or distant future. What a load of Rubbish Food.
