Excellent all round, Staff very friendly and helpful.
The walk into town through the park is lovely.
Will tell all about our stay, an excellent place to stay for touring around the area.
Hunstanton and Boston are a must do.

A business trip to Kings Lynn, single female and needed to stay in the centre. The Stuart House is a small and very welcoming hotel at the end of a quiet lane/cul de sac. Some of the bedroom corridor areas are going through a re-furbishment.
The room was compact but nicely furnished and immaculate, with free wifi in the room, flat screen TV. In the room you could hear the people in the next room run a bath, only a problem if you wanted to lie in! I was given a choice to eat in the restaurant or the bar, both had the same menu. I chose the restaurant, it was not very busy, but the food was very tasty. Breakfast was also served in the restaurant, there was not a large choice but more than adequate portions. The staff were very friendly and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Just spent three nights at this hotel and would struggle to find even the smallest negative view.
The staff, who all seemed to do a variety of jobs, were unfailingly friendly, helpful and efficient. Information about restaurants and the booking of taxis was willingly accomplished by a lady originally from Bradford and whose name I'm ashamed to say I didn't get.
The breakfasts were tasty and filling as was the evening meal we had.
Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed and the location of the hotel is ideal for a stay in King's Lynn, being just a short walk into town through a very attractive public park.
Cannot recommend this hotel too highly and its value for money.

We stayed for one night at the Stuart House. The staff were very accommodating and the room was a nice size. We had a reasonable deal for a deluxe room which we thought wqs about right. .Certainly we would not have felt the same if we had paid the rack rate. My wife found the bed uncomfortable and it seemed the mattress should be replaced. Typically for an independent hotel some areas were tired and needed upgrading. Breakfast was fine but we felt that the bar food was over priced as it was the same menu as the restaurant. Overall our stay was ok and was no more or less than average.

Thank you for your review. I am pleased you found the staff accommodation and overall enjoyed your stay. I cannot identify you from your profile so am unsure of which room you were in. I don't know if you mentioned the mattress when you checked out but I have had no reports of it. Would you be so kind to call us and let us know which room you were in so I can investigate and replace if necessary.

We agree that some areas of the hotel are in need of updating which is why we are currently upgrading and redecorating, 3 rooms are now in the process of being totally refurbished and two corridors, so far, have been updated, we try to do this with minimum disruption to our guests so unfortunately it can take longer that we would like.

The room was spacious and had everything you would need. The bar was cosy and served local ales and was a good alternative to walking into town. The staff were incredibly accommodating and served us breakfast earlier than usual, as we had an early start - which was very helpful. We had a very pleasant stay and would readily recommend this hotel.
