“Relaxing stay in Pod”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2014

Stayed for 3 nights in pod. Very clean, relaxing and had just the right equipment in pod. Probably one of the best pods around. The site was nice and the shower block within easy reach. Also good information available on local attractions.

Just returned from a lovely weekend camping. Staff friendly and helpful. Shop although small we'll stocked and reasonable. The new toilet block spotless. Pitches are reasonable sized and campsite we'll placed to explore norfolk. Can recommend ordering the local fish and chips they deliver to your tent.

My husband and I have just returned from our 10 night stay at KLCCP, haven't really got much to say about the campsite, other than, the management and staff are most helpful, Paul did everything he could to accommodate us.

There isn't anything to do on the campsite, although my husband was speaking to a member of staff who did mention that he wanted to get a childrens play area or swimming pool. Although, all the children we saw whilst we were there were amusing themselves.

The toilets and shower block were clean, well looked after and well maintained.

The only noise we heard was from the main road which ran literally down the side of the campsite, but unless you live in the middle of nowhere, we're all used to it!!

We will be returning next year for a couple of nights...

As someone who's never been fond of the "Great British Holiday", I've never been a huge fan of the idea of camping. However, after staying at the King's Lynn Caravan & Camping Park, I'm looking forward to going back.

I stayed for two nights with my girlfriend and our three dogs, in a small two man tent. Upon arrival, we were greeted enthusiastically by the owner, who did his absolute best to ensure that our requests (somewhere quiet and out of the way, where we wouldn't disturb families with potential barking...and families wouldn't disturb us) were met. He was friendly and open, and gave us a map of the surrounding area, along with local information. He inquired as to whether or not we would need Wifi access, which we refused this trip (but may take advantage of next time), and gave us solid directions to our pitch.

I dreaded visiting the toilet/showering facilities, and was very pleasantly surprised by what I found. All of the toilet cubicles were clean and well maintained, and the showering areas were private and spacious. The shower temperature cannot be controlled, but is kept at a very comfortable level without much fluctuation.

Our pitch size was more than adequate - we only had a two man tent (and with two of us and three small dogs, that's a mistake I'll be rectifying) but with the tent and our Fiesta, we had more than enough space without intruding on anyone else's pitch. We saw several 6+ man tents and plenty of space around them, too, so pitch size is good. When it was night-time, it was very quiet and peaceful, without any lights to disturb anyone, except for on top of the toilet/shower facilities.

The site is located a very short journey from a shopping park which includes (amongst others) a Pizza Hut, Subway, Maplin, Currys, Tesco and Sainsburys, and for essentials there's a very reasonably priced shop on-site.

I have absolutely no complaints about this camping park, and am honestly looking forward to going back very soon.

We have just returned from staying in one of the lodges on site it was fantastic from start to finish.

The lodges are 5* exceptionally clean and tidy and all the kitchen accessories you would need in the kitchen were provided and beds and sofas very comfortable.

Beautiful decked area with table and chairs and very quiet location.

Staff were very friendly and Paul most helpful upon booking.

We will be booking to come back very soon.

We have stayed at this site numerous times. Site is immaculate both the pitches and the toilet/ shower blocks. The management and staff are very helpful and friendly. They advise places to eat and visit and provide a folder for guests to look at re places of interest. Good size plots not even cramped when they are busy which they always seem to be so that speaks for itself. A well stocked shop on site which sells the essentials but large stores just down the road. 10 out of 10 for this fabulous site.

Disliked:

Nothing to do with the site but the large group who reviewed below. Don't normally name but Adallinson party you were awful..my partner went into the gents and got soaked by the two lads and toilets blocked by them stuffing paper down them..Do you allow them to do that at home??? I doubt it!!! A little respect for others would have been nice.. I appreciate people like to have a good time; don't we all, but their is a limit and your noise was far too extreme! The management dealt appropriately...On more than one occasion you were spoken too.Never in all the years we have toured or stayed on this site have I seen and heard such a disruptive family.... So pleased you left so everyone else could enjoy their break....

Site is absolutely lovely, but should come with a 'kids not allowed' clause.

We had a family gathering here for the weekend, about 20-30 of us, and on one evening 2 of the young boys of the group decided it would be a good idea to have a mini water fight in the shower block. The management were understandably annoyed and requested that it either be cleaned up or we leave. The boys were very apolgetic, the water cleaned up and it was all resolved from there. So we thought! The next morning at around 10:15am, in TORRENTIAL rain, the management came round and said he wanted all of us off the site by 10am (impossible), due to the water incident from the previous night, or else we'd have to pay for another night. When some agreed to pay for the additional night, just because putting down a 6 man tent in a downpour isn't anybody's idea of fun, he put the price up from the usual £16 to £20!!! Absolutely outrageous, no long term damage was caused (it was water in a bathroom!) and basically he just wanted his moneey's worth from the large group.

Would not recommend, management have obviously never been young and also go back on previous agreements (tidy or leave). Absolutely disgusting and actually illegal!

Room Tip: Don't take your children, and do not go in groups
