Reviewed 25 July 2013

We arrived at this Premier Inn on the hottest day of the year, 22nd July. The car recorded an outside temperature of 35 degrees.
The receptionist at check in was very pleasant and polite, we were advised that the window in our room was open and that the curtains were closed and in addition a fan had been installed and had been on since the morning. We were also offered sheets if we needed should we not wish to use the duvets. Very good and thoughtful service which we appreciated.

I would not normally write a review on a 'budget hotel' because you tend to get what it says on the tin. However, it can be seen from above our visit exceeded our expectations.

"At the end of the day when you're all done in, you can always rely on a premier inn".

Our group of 6 stayed here for 3 nights.
All rooms were excellent.
We had the Light option Breakfast which was excellent value for money.
Staff were very helpful.
Our trip to Norfolk was aimed at visiting Ely Cathedral.
The Old Town of Kings Lynn was also intereresting

Room Tip: We where allocated Family Rooms

Stayed here after being let-down by a (dreadful) Travelodge a few miles down the road.

I was very impressed with this Premier-Inn - it had obviously been built recently, was very clean with nice big rooms and a good car park.
The staff were helpful and welcoming. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Room Tip: My room in the annex was very pleasant and quiet - no idea how it compares with other rooms but was...

Nice spacious room which was spotlessly clean presenting good value for money, only downside was no air conditioning but they did supply a fan which certainly helped. The bed was extremely comfortable. The self service check in was a first for us, but the staff that were there to assist us, were very helpful and pleasant. With half hours free wifi & breakfast included in our rate. Would definately stay again. The help yourself buffet was plentiful and very tasty. Will definitely be back, but will ask for a room in either the annex or at the back of the hotel as ours was on the ground floor overlooking the car park and was a little bit noisy.

Room Tip: Try to avoid a ground floor room facing the car park as it's quite noisy both late at night &...

Found one of these £29 rooms, went with a open mind, and boy what a great night. Clean room and a 40inch tv. Air con, small fan, could be better. Breakfast good, but have to get it yourself. Dinner have to order from bar. food not bad,bar prices a bit high. Overall not a bad place to stay over

Please do not stay here during summer months, there is no integrated Air Conditioning, windows only open 2 inches at the bottom and all that was in the room was a blow heater blowing hot air in the room.... Sweated all night and could hardly breathe, just a pity as it is a lovely Inn, but I have to be honest, if I had known how hot the rooms are I would have stayed

The accommodation was very good. A comfortable bed, spacious room, and good bathroom - ideal for a short stay. The hotel was quiet, but as I stayed in a period of hot weather and had to keep the window open at night due to there being no air conditioning, there was some noise from the busy rood nearby. Very easy access to Kings Lynn using the local roads and avoiding the A47.
