Located just off the main A47 this Premier Inn lived up to standards. Clean, tidy, comfy, next to a pub/restaurant and ample free parking.

In spite of being given a ground floor room next to the pub and car park my 14 year old and I had an excellent nights sleep.

One other plus is that whilst we had to be up very early, thus missing breakfast, there is a 24hr McDs and garage right next door.

We stayed here for one night whilst attending a wedding. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. And it was great to be able to check in late, after the wedding had finished.
I've never stayed at a Premier Inn before and had slight preconceptions but it was great! The room could have been a hotel room anywhere - no difference between it and some of the fancier places I've stayed.
Our room (no.18) was spotlessly clean and the bed really comfortable. The shower was lovely and hot and overall it was perfect for a one night stay. The only reason I wouldn't stay longer is the location - it's more designed for travelling stop overs rather than a week's break :)
Only one tiny problem - the noise from next door. Our room had a connecting door and I guess it's hard to soundproof a door but our neighbours were re-enacting 50 Shades of Grey at top volume so it would have been great if we could have heard less!
Other than that - spot on!

Clean, comfortable and good-sized rooms with functional but not basic design.
Breakfasts are filling, self-service (unless you want something like omelette) and reasonable quality. The dining area, in the adjacent Brewer's Fayre, can be very busy and justifies booking on arrival to avoid a wait (leastways on a Sat evening.) You will have to drive if you wish to eat anywhere else.

Was visiting Sandringham and needed a local hotel for our 3 night stay. This Premier Inn was an ideal location for our break, situated outside of the main town, but just off of the main road network.
There was ample free parking and a Brewers Fayre restaurant on site. The staff in the Hotel & Restaurant were both friendly & helpful. The Hotel reception & our room, were clean and smart. Our room was on the ground floor facing the overflow car park to the rear and we had 3 good nights sleep.
The restaurant is very popular with the locals, so if you want to eat there booking is advisable.

Room Tip: There is a main road near by, ask for a quiet room to the rear.

You have just driven nearly 200 miles, it is dark and wet and windy. You have found the Premier Inn situated on a desolate heath near the King's Lynn ring road. You take your bags inside and because you are organised, have the appropriate piece of paper; although a bit surprised by the procedure, you start the process of booking in on a machine. The people behind you in the queue have no such identification and the charming lady behind the counter does the whole thing for them. We were confused by the question which asked if you wanted to pay for parking. They of course finish before you do and, having heard you wondering about lifts, are offered a ground floor room when they ask for one.

The charming lady managed to find one for us too - we would have been a bit miffed had she not as my wife has a temporary incapacity. As it was she found it difficult to stand for the whole of this protracted procedure.

Surely this is all wrong. It is up to the hotel to welcome you: even Travelodge manages this quite well on occasion.

The room was well appointed, or it would have been had all the lights worked. As it was, I found it impossible to read at the table or in bed. There was no spare bulb available for the desk lamp and the light in the ceiling required a maintenance man - it came and went on and off sporadically.

I managed to sort myself out for the second night by visiting the £ shop in King's Lynn and purchasing a little battery lamp. There are 6 available sockets in the room, but thoughtfully none on the side of the room where the bed is.

The maintenance man was excellent and I was helped with my little purchase for which I did not have a screwdriver.

Even though it was mid October and the window was open, the room was still too warm. I can imagine it being unbearable in the summer; there was no air conditioning.

The pub on the same desolate heath was adequate for meals, no more.

The cleaning of the room was first rate.

The staff we came in to contact with were friendly and helpful.

If you want to go into King's Lynn, the walk to the ferry takes 25 minutes, catch the 505 bus back although it is doubtful if the driver will have any idea of the location of the Premier Inn as it is not directly on the bus route. King's Lynn bus station is 100% unhelpful, no maps, no customer service. You can drive to West Lynn and park the car there for free. The ferry costs £1.50 return and takes you directly into the centre of town. You have there in 6 lines have far more useful local info than you will find on the Premier Inn site.

I shall not stay at a hotel that demands self check in again. When I go away I want to be made to feel welcome.

Room Tip: Choose one at the back, not near the front door or pub if possible.
