“Fantastic Hotel Just avoid the onsite food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 November 2013

Recently refurbished we believe. The room was faultless and offered fantastic value . Clean , tidy and everything working . Hotel staff cheerful , friendly, enthusiastic and helpful .

Unfortunately this is not mirrored by the onsite Brewers Fayre restaurant /pub. Even allowing for it's genre the staff were lackluster and we got the sense we were an inconvenience to be navigated round till the end of shift .The food was we felt pretty mediocre as a result of the previous comment . We were not expecting the world but others in this market segment do it a great deal better than this particular Brewers Fayre .

Having stayed here before earlier in the year, I decided to visit here again whilst in the area.

On my first visit the hotel was having extension / refurbishment works varied out. Despite this both the hotel and pub were immaculate and customer service was excellent.

On this occasion, on arrival I found customer service toward another guest not to the same high standard. Even though it appeared to be his error, rather than helping the man with his problem, both of the staff found it necessary to argue the point with him at the same time as checking other guests in.

Unfortunately, service standards seemed to have dropped in the pub next door as well. Whilst waiting for a table, the waitress asked the 2 men infront of me if they had booked and looked at them as if they were from Mars when they said no. At this point I decided to skip the Brewers Fayre and go to McD's instead.

Really nice hotel, but I'm afraid I'd think twice about coming here again.

stayed here for three nights while visiting family in kings lynn ( nov 10-11-12) hard to find in the dark no signpost on road entrance...could see hotel sign from A17 roundabout so knew general direction...quick check in,receptionist was polite and gave us all the relevant information... the room was as per usual warm ,very clean and tidy well looked after...massive t.v. on the wall..not enough tea and coffee sachets, just asked and were given more( not a problem) nice and warm through the night,,excellent breakfast in the brewers fayre next door as was the evening meal...friendly waitress ,nicola, the evening buffet did not look very appetising so gave it a miss so ordered off the menu , plenty of choice

Room Tip: room 122 was good, second floor , bit of road noise ,morning rush hour

We stayed in this hotel in October for 4 nights and enjoyed it very much.We ve stayed in a few Premier Inns over the last few years and have never experienced a bad hotel. This one was no exception. The staff on the reception desk were very polite, friendly and very helpful concerning places of interest in the local and wider areas. The room was spotlessly clean and attended daily by the staff.Towels were changed daily. The bed was large and comfortable, large flat screen t.v.,the usual P.I.room of the highest standard.
There was a Brewers Fayre next door, very busy especially at night but very well managed. When it was exceptionally busy, waiting times for tables and food could become a little lengthy but I think that was to be expected. The food was" Brewers Fayre" but was OK "Brewers Fayre.". Breakfast of course was "Premier Inn" and was again very good and very well organised by the pub staff.
We would stay in this Premier Inn again and advise anyone considering it to do the same.

This was a very clean and well presented hotel really impressed with communal areas as well as bedrooms. The girl who checked us in was helpful and polite and made us feel very welcome. We were given plenty of information about the hotel including breakfast and then asked if we wanted a booking at the restaurant which we took up. The welcome at the Brewers Fayre not so welcoming but the food was ok and the service from the waitress was very good. My only complaint if you could call it that is some water in the room not necessarily bottled but maybe in a jug.

Stayed for one night as couldn't get into our chosen hotel on the Saturday night. The hotel is about a 10 min drive from the centre of Kings Lynn and is poorly signposted behind the Mcdonalds off the main road. We had a warm welcome from the receptionist and our room 131 was clean, modern although a little cool - we struggled to get the right temperature throughout. It was very comfortable and we both had a good nights sleep.
We ate at the adjoining Brewers Fayre although only Mr TGB partook as I was feeling very unwell. Food was described as distinctly average and whilst we ate from the main menu the chicken buffet looked dried up and very unappetising. Breakfast here the following morning was ok but not fabulous and got very busy very quickly.
All in all this was very comfortable for one night and very good value at £35 but I wouldn't choose to spend longer than a night here.

We stayed here for my sisters wedding. The staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My only criticism is that the rooms could do with air conditioning and not a basic fan. But when you're only paying £60 a night for a room, I suppose you can't be too fussy. You can't beat a Premier Inn! Thanks again.
