For those who have explained that this hotel needs a facelift - well it has started. Good value clean and friendly. Once the facelift it should be excellent! Nice food for supper and very quiet inside. Staff lovely A stones throw away from the office for the morning

Dear JaneyWales,

The facelift is now well under way and making a diffirence to the look of the bedrooms and the guest perception of the hotel.
We do like to feel that we have lovely staff and pride ourselves on our customer service and guest care.
I am glad that you enjoyed the food and hopefully you will stay with us again in the future.

Just returned home after spending a couple of nights at the hotel. The location of the hotel was on the edge of an industrial estate and just off a roundabout on an A road intersection (easy to miss the turning which is a short way from the roundabout on the left). The grounds were spacious grounds with good car parking facilities. The hotel was within walking distance to a large retail park which was handy.
The room was comfortable and clean. We particularly liked the comfortable mattress, which is quite unusual in hotels. We kept the window open all night and found it fairly quiet considering it is near a busy road junction. The only thing I would say about the room is there was unnecessary space taken up by a large armchair and no bedside table on the one side of the bed. There was WiFi throughout the hotel with no log in needed which made logging on with different gadgets nice and easy!
The breakfast was quite good, with a selection of hot and cold food available. The buffet hot food was kept in enclosed containers which kept it hot and eggs were cooked to order. I am surprised the hotel has had some negative reviews, I'm glad I didn't let them put me off!

Dear Claireg17,
I am glad that you did not let previous reviews deter you from staying with us at the Quality Hotel Kings Lynn, as judging from your comments you found it a very positive and enjoyable experience.
I have noted your point concerning the large armchair in the bedroom and we are taking the opportunity to review the style and selection of furniture in the bedrooms during a current refurbishment programme.
Thank you for taking the time to feedback your experience with us.

Yours sincerely

We stayed at the Quality Hotel Kings Lynn from 27th to 29th April and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is definitely in need of refurbishment but the room was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable and we both slept well. We were dissapointed with the meal we had in the restaurant on the Saturday evening but the breakfasts we had were very good.
The staff on reception are very polite and helpful.
We would stay at this hotel again if the need arises.

We stayed at the Quality Hotel Kings's Lynn on Friday night and we can't fault it.

Good value for money, very friendly staff and a good nights sleep.

But we nearly didn't book because of the bad reviews.

Yes the room we stayed in was a bit "tired" and there are stains on the carpets, but the bedding, towels and room were clean.

We will definitely stay there again.

Would recommend.

Dear Derek J,
I am glad that you chose to ignore the bad reviews. The tired room that you stayed in has now been refurbished as part of a programme that will encompass all aspects of the bedrooms and public areas.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel again in the future.

Having taken advantage of a reduced-cost promotion with Ramada hotels, we were somewhat confused to find no hotel of that name at our destination. The hotel had been taken over two weeks previously by Quality hotels but no information given to those who booked as Ramada, so several trips around the industrial estate were required before asking at the Quality hotel!

The staff were pleasant but obviously somewhat confused with the change-over. The hotel was very dated/ old fashioned in its furnishings. The room was adequate with a - small- double bed. Bathroom was small with minimal toiletries.

The dining room, like the rest of the hotel, is in urgent need of re-furbishment but the meals were excellent.

Dear Rob E,
I am sorry about the confusion about the change of name of the hotel and the diffculty you encountered in locating the hotel.
Since your stay there has been a programme of refurbishment that has commenced and the look of the hotel is beginning to change. We are going to be changing the look of the public areas, including the restaurant.
I am glad that your enjoyed your meals during your stay and I hope that we may be able to welcome you back to the Quality Hotel Kings Lynn again in the future.

Just of the major roundabout in Kings Lynn but we could'nt find it and no one knew it or were it was as it had changed it's name only a short time ago .
It look's a little tierd from the out side but it was nice and warm on the inside. Respection young lady was polite and check in was quick.
Room was small but clean but it did have a musty smell about it . Bathroom clean a bit dated and a miss match of nice towells and very old ones. The shower was very hard to turn on and had rather a low presure... it was ok....
Dinner . Menu looked nice ,good choice. Shame food did'nt come up to scratch. Starter was ok .Nothing spectacular. Main ...we orderd a mixed grill and half a chicken and veg .....Chicken was dreadful ! dry , no taste and looked as if had been "freshend up" by deep frying it . Nasty. did mention it to the waitress but all I got was "Sorry about that" as she took dishes away..Veg was ok nice and hot again nothing spectacular.....Mixed grill..everything was over cooked except the lamb chop..steak was chewy...even the chips were very well done.
2nd night we ate out !....Breakfast ...plenty of it but poor quality esp sausages ..and the coffee was awful .(out of machine) DIY toast that look ages.
Bed ...was comfortable and the heating worked well.

What a disaster never again. We arrived on sat and in the bar area with are family they had already run out of vodka. They said the vodka was in the marquee, no staff members made no attempt to go and get any. Around 6pm we moved over to the marquee, and those of us that had suit jackets were very lucky, because it was bloody freezing. When asked to heat the marquee. They lit a industrial gas burner and heat elements around the room. But this was very dangerous for the children running around. We said they need guards around them, but they had nothing so they put chairs in front of them.
The marquee toilets had no hot water and towards the end of the night they had ran out of most drinks.
The Bride and Groom found out the following day that a lot went home because they were to cold.
We rang the manager on the Monday to express our views. But may as well talk to a lamppost .
