“2 night break”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

stayed for a short break. Room was clean and bed comfy. Hotel staff with the exception of breakfast waitress, only spoke when spoken to and customer service non existent. Evening food quite expensive, so ate out. On return, we ordered glass of Merlot and glass of Pinot grigio and nearly fell off our seats when told they were £14.60. Now whilst you expect to pay a little more in a hotel rather than a pub, we had just spent four nights at Warner hotels and only paid £5.50 per glass for the same wine, and that included a show for the evening.!!!!!! That, together with no conversation at all from the girl serving us, was just a step too far. Would not use this hotel again.

Stayed for a short break .Hotel room was clean even though some of fixtures and fittings tired. We only used as a bed did not eat at Hotel .We enquired about food and thought quite expensive £3.50 for tea and toast for breakfast if booked night before ,more on morning. Also asked about Evening food presented with a clip-board with a list on still quite expensive. We found convenient eateries on industrial park with in 10-15 minute walk(via large roundabout and crossings) e.g Pizza Hut Frankie & Bennys .Breakfast at Costa Coffee,Subway,Sainsburys,Tesco etc more reasonably priced and better choice than hotel.

Room Tip: We had ground floor room overlooking car park .We had no noise from major round junction

The room was very clean, the bed was really comfortable, and we had a great nights sleep, the food was OK, as long as you wanted chips with your main meal, if you wanted a meal that came with veg, then this was very soggy, I don't like soggy veg!
Our waiter Sam was very good, and gave us the correct amount of time to look at the menu, and was very good with the wines.
The breakfast had a good choice, and the eggs cooked to order so not all hard and rubbery, like in some places you can get.
All in all we had a good time in Kings Lynn, we would use this hotel again, maybe better signage for the main entrance would help especially if arriving at night.

I have just got back from a 2 night break I had at the hotel this weekend.
Me and my partner got brough a voucher for a two night get away for Christmas and booked with this hotel, and I wasn't disappointed. The room was lovely, huge double bed that was very very comfty, staff were all very friendly & helpful, breakfast was lovely, best I have had in a long time, a lot of selection wich is always good. I couldn't fault this hotel, I reccomend it 100%!
With a 5 mins drive you have a selection of restaurants, shops & tesco! Beach is near by, we didn't go but heard great things about it. Town center is lovely, and the cinema is deffo worth going to! Cheap tickets!!! I had a lovely weekend, and would be happy to return to this hotel again.

Thanks to all the staff❤️

Conveniently located on the edge of Kings Lynn near a major intersection access to North Norfolk is good with many great visitor attractions within an hours drive .

We have used this hotel three or four times over the last couple of years . The staff from reception through to housekeeping are unfailingly professional ,polite , helpful and cheerful .

Rooms are standard fare for this level of hotel and whilst ours appeared to have been recently decorated the furniture in common with the public areas of the hotel was a little tired .
Having said that cleanliness cannot be faulted .
The free wi - fi seemed to work well both in our room & in the public areas which was a welcome plus .

There is a bar and resteraunt , conservatory and patio area grouped round reception. The resteraunt menu was adequate rather than inspiring and appears to be only available from 19:30 - 21:00 . The bar area is comfortable with the previously mentioned conservatory & patio close at hand .

The dining area , bar ,reception and ground floor rooms have reasonable access for anyone with children or mobility issues .

Parking is plentiful and in front of the hotel which stands in its own grounds set well away from the road.

Overall , clean , great staff , good location but slightly behind the game in comparison with their competition who have hotels in the area.

Room Tip: Rooms @ 118 - 130 are on the ground floor in the wing furthest from reception / bar / dining area .

A very pleasant 10 days. All the staff
were very polite and helpful. Food was very good and reasonable prices. The only complaint that I have, is that there is not a room for disabled people. Will stay there again
