Owner description: The original and still the best. Set in the heart of Britain's largest lowland pine forest, our first ever course is centred around 30 miles of bike and walking trails from which to explore 50,000 acres of forest. And the mother of all our courses features our classic Tree Top Adventure, Forest Segways and Tree Top Junior. Our Tree Top Adventure features a NEW Tarzan Swing, back-to-back black crossings (don't worry, they're optional!) and an Alpine zip (that goes from tree to tree). Now that's worth shouting from the tree tops! And the adventure does not need to stop there. You can get off the beaten track and enjoy our forest adventure with Go Ape Forest Segway - an epic experience with a down to earth twist. And Thetford Forest is also home to our Tree Top Junior Adventure for Mini Tarzans. Release your little monkeys onto a Go Ape course designed for them. No one loves adventure more than kids!

We visited last week and the four who did the Go Ape thing really enjoyed it. I can't comment as I am not brave enough for all of that. However I had a lovely walk through the forest and only saw 2 other people on the walk. Very peaceful and quiet. All in all I felt the price was good for Go Ape, as the others were occupied for about 2 1/2 hours and I had a lovely walk.

The facilities are amazing, but what really left a great feeling about this place is the quality and friendliness of the people who work for Go Ape.

Have in the past taken my kids and mates there, joined in with them and thoughly enjoyed it. I struggled a little on some and ended up having to take the slightly easier route but this was because I'm only just 5 foot !

Hello visited go ape as a group in sept . Started off by being told by the girl that she had had 45 minute safety training to get her job , made you feel very unsafe then on doing the course realised harnesses and d clips were very worn to say the least one of our group the harness snapped so we finished early the harness was clearly put back inthe to use pile again even though they knew about it it just didn't feel safe or right . On leaving after paying 30 per adult we had to pay 7.60 for car park what a cheek complained about trip got one email back then nothing . Would not go there again

We went to Go Ape as a group of eight, only six did the course and the other two hired bikes.
Luckily it was a nice dry day. It took around 3 hours for us to do the course.
You need a general level of fitness to do this, lots of climbing etc. Wear suitable clothes, saw a few shoes dropping off!!

Pro's - we found all the staff friendly and helpful, we were able to leave our bags with staff at the office. The course is safe and fun. Lovely field if you take a picnic.Toilets and places to buy food and drink.

Con's - cost of parking ....it cost us more than £10 per car!! Cost of Go Ape was £30 each which I think was too much. Lots of waiting around due to people infront, as it's one at a time you have to keep waiting.
