Wonderful hotel, with large clean warm room, and lovely comfortable beds. The staff are amazing nothing is to much trouble and done with a smile. We enjoyed a lovely meal and as there was a christmas party night going on the atmosphere in the bar area was great. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It's always a exciting time having a new hotel, but with the response we have had following our new decor and cuisine things can only get better. We are so happy to have such honourable guests like yourselves. I am sure that we will see you again and hopefully this time I can meet you myself and buy you a bubbly or two. An honour to serve you and will only make us stronger. Thank you once again and see you soon. All our new year promotions will be on our web site so please look out.

Have recently dined at the Thomas Paine Hotel and also have been there for drinks before - the service and food is second to none - we recently went for a Christmas meal and the food was really delicious, the turkey was moist and you got a good amount, the vegetables and trimmings were spot on and the starters and deserts also of a very good quality. Would strongly recommend to anyone.

Excellent to see you enjoyed our festive food and ambience at the hotel, it's always great to see all our guests enjoying themselves with our new facilities and staff. Many of you have already booked for next year so that's great news for both parties. Our festive food has had a great response as well as our other various cuisine on offer. We are still pushing for our standards and service to get better and better and it's great to serve you and make us go further. We await your exciting return.

My Partner and I along with our friends had the absolute pleasure to have stayed at the Thomas Paine hotel recently. We had intended to explore Thetford but didn't really make it out of the hotel. We had a fantastic meal - they were serving new sizzling dishes- we had Chicken, Swordfish and Rib Eye steak all were delicious!!
There was a party going on in the function room - The people involved were having a great time and after we had dinner we were actually invited to "gate crash" their party!
The staff were very accommodating and Mr Chetal the hotel owner was one of the best hosts that I have had the pleasure of meeting.
I highly recommend a stay over with this hotel.

Room Tip: Book well in advance :-) But all rooms looked nice

What a fantastic hotel! We stayed in a beautifully decorated & spacious bedroom with a spotlessly clean bathroom for a very reasonable price. The food in the restaurant was excellent with a great selection of choice. The service was spot on, we could not fault a thing, clearly this is a very well run establishment.

Excellent to see great feedback, when we were doing the decor for the rooms we were thinking of all aspects from a guests stay for the room and bathrooms. I am so happy that we took the right decision for our guests to now enjoy. Our restaurant is going from strength to strength and new menus for winter are due out soon. We thank you for your comments and welcome back your return.

We just stayed one night as a last minute get away revisiting some old haunts as we used to live in thetford. We paid £69.90 for bed and breakfast. Room 1 which we stayed in was huge and nicely decorated and the hotel has been refurbished to a good standard. I was worried it might be cold due to the high ceilings but the heating was on and it was very cosy. The bar and restaurant area is very attractive and although we didn't have dinner there the menu looked tempting. Our only hiccup was that we weren't told about coming in later in the evening so we had to phone to find out how to get in but that's a small thing. We slept well, no noise problems. Breakfast was superb, good choice of cereals and juices, cafetiere coffee, fresh fruit salad loads of toast and the cooked breakfast was delicious. We were asked how we wanted our eggs and they were perfect, the meat was good quality and the mushrooms fried in butter were to die for! We were served by the chef and he was very personable and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate in staying again. Thank you!

Room Tip: Room 1 is big and overlooks car park so quiet.

Excellent to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us, having now put a lot of time, investment and training into this project just makes us happy to once again hear such wonderful comments. We have taken a lot of care over the décor and ambience with food standards to get the product we have now. Nothing happens overnight so we are happy that we are pointing in the right direction. We await your return.
