Ideal location, gorgeous weather, excellent week. Even tried bell ringing in the church across the street! Managed to trace the family history of one of the residents in the graveyard.

We visit Wells every year so have a long term affection for the place.

We stayed at the Mousetrap for 4 nights. I wish we had more time to spend there as our stay was so lovely. The house is fantastic, well equipped, very cosy, spacious, quiet, well located and we really felt like at home. Location is great as everything you need is in walking distance. Some great pubs around the corner! And North Norfolk is just beautiful. We had some questions before our stay and the Carl was really helpful and responsive.

Loved the newly-refurbished Mousetrap. Really roomy, 5 of us enjoyed a week there in October. Lovely and warm, the kitchen is very well-equipped and has everything you need, beds have really snug quilts, the long sofas are great for idling! And a real bonus in Wells to have parking space. We enjoyed watching the geese fly over, had a beach hut day in Wells, had a good time eating and drinking at the Globe, walked by the deer in the grounds at Holkham - went further afield to beautiful Salthouse. We will be back.

Had a wonderful stay in The Mousetrap - very comfortable and plenty of space for our party of 4 adults and dog. The Cottage catered for all our needs - fab kitchen. Ideally situated for the town and walk to the beach, also travelling in either direction to other places in North Norfolk. Wells is just a lovely town, you have everything you need. Great places to eat - Golden Fleece being our favourite but the Crab Pot was great too. Will definitely wish to visit again.

The Mousetrap is very spacious and well equipped with a great location. The walk to the harbour is less than 10 minutes and there are a number of local shops for groceries etc.
The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils one might need.

lovely and spacious!! Lovely ooen plan kitchen with every utensil, pan, plate , glass and casserole dish you can think of !! These guys have really thought of everything . The lounge is very spacious and well decorated. What I particularly think is great is that there is 2 bedrooms to the right of the lounge and a bathroom but on the left of the lounge there is the 3rd bedroom with its own toilet and shower . This would work particularly well if grandma and grandad were joining you, they get some privacy and you do too. There was plenty of room for my two boys to run around without getting under my feet . I loved the place it suited us perfectly . I will definitely stay again . If there's one thing I would have liked it would be a large smart tv so we could log into our Netflix or Amazon on a evening when the kids are in bed !! Highly recommended though perfectly located with space for 2 cars.
