Wells Next The Sea, very popular seaside fishing town well presented Caravan site very clean and close to very clean Sandy beach, recommended as been going their for 30yrs will defiantly visit again next year
This is a really nice, well looked after caravan, with everything you need for a peaceful break. The kitchen was equipped with a full size gas cooker, fridge, microwave and every utensil you could want. The living room/dining area was spacious and comfortable, with a gas fire and good TV. The double bedroom had loads of storage space and a good size bed, there was also a twin bedded room, and the bathroom had a superb shower. It was also heated very efficiently with radiators in every room. My husband, two dogs and I felt very at home. The Pinewoods caravan site is well run and maintained, with a shop, laundry and recycle facilities, but best of all, it is the closest place you can stay near to the marvellous beach, which is dog friendly everywhere west of the beach road all the way to Holkham. There are also beautiful pine woods and many footpaths right on your doorstep. If you were to drive from elsewhere and park, it costs a small fortune. a pleasant 15-20 minute walk takes you into Wells - Next -The -Sea which was charming, with excellent shops.
All in all, highly recommended and we are looking forward to returning next year.
We love Wells Next to Sea & surrounding area's Pinewoods is a great caravan park to stay. The caravan we stayed in was clean & comfortable and nicely situated the weather was gorgeous the beach is fantastic so couldnt have asked for more. We hope to return next year fingers crossed we get the same type of weather.
Excellent break. Will return. Clean and a brilliant beach. Shame about the amusements in the town, but the fish and chips and ice cream are fantastic.
Lovely, comfortable caravan with nice home comforts like jigsaws and books. Site is bigger than those we're used to in Pembrokeshire but very well tended and quite peaceful. Caravan is sited in good spot by a hedge so fairly private space to sit out on impressive decking.
We hadn't been to North Norfolk before and have found the landscape, little villages and beaches very beautiful and different from other parts of the UK. There's plenty to do and see - in fact a week is definitely not long enough.
Booked this caravan as a last minute place to stay whilst visiting a friend nearby. Thought it would be good for a base and could get some long walks in on beach too. Unfortunately I broke my ankle so the long walks were out which was a shame as we had lovely sunny but cold weather. I did manage a small walk though. Beach is gorgeous and the beach huts lovely.
The caravan was brilliant and exactly as described. It was clean and was very well equipped with everything we needed. It had a large decking which in the summer must be lovely. One little drawback was we couldn't park close to the decking gate but had to park the other end with a walk the length of the decking to get to the gate. Normally this probably wouldn't have mattered much but, as I was on crutches, my poor friend had to make numerous trips backwards and forwards with all our luggage etc. It was also dark when we arrived and the path was a bit muddy and slippy so it was a bit of a bind for her. We did notice the next morning in the light that there was a gate at the end of the decking where you parked the car although there were no steps. We used this when we left and it was much easier. Perhaps visitors could be told this before arrival. Even though the weather was cold the caravan very quickly warmed up and we were nice and cosy. There was plenty of storage space especially in the main bedroom and extra beds and bedding which would be good for a larger party.
I would definitely book this caravan again.
