We stayed here for the second time, last week.
Evette and Kevin are friendly, helpful, interested in what you have been up to and Kevin cooks a fabulous breakfast every day. Evette's attention to detail at breakfast is amazing, after the first day everything appeared as if by magic. Fresh beautifully presented cut fruit is served every morning with cereal, followed by a full English with locally produced food and hot toast to follow. Should you wish to vary what you eat, any variation of the full English is available, e.g. one day I decided to have poached eggs. Beautifully fresh eggs were poached and served on seeded toast. Wonderful.
The two rooms are well-appointed with en-suite. Cookies are available every day with your tea in the room. We choose the room at the front because it gives us a view towards the sea, but the room at the back is a twin and slightly larger. Beds can be pushed together to make a large double. The decor is beautifully designed and our room had teal accents to set off the light decor.
Evette keeps the rooms warm although radiators can be adjusted to suit your required heat. The shower room is large and kept spotlessly clean.
We certainly will return.

Room Tip: Front room adequately sized king sized bed and great view. Rear room larger and twin beds which can be pushed together to form super king

I can only endorse the comments made in other reviews. My partner and I stayed for 4 nights in June and very pleasurable it was to. Finely cooked breakfast which Kevin would vary according to your wishes which was perfect. If a view of the distant sea is not essential(and it is distant) I would recommend the the other room that has a Garden view. That room is more spacious than the Look out room which we had. Even so that room was fine with a very comfortable bed and spaciously modern ensuite. Location is spot on and quiet. Far enough from the busy hubbub of the town but close enough to comfortably walk to shops, pubs etc.
A Co-op supermarket is conveniently placed within a a few hundred yards which also has a cash machine. The Bowling Green pub is very close by and serves fine food. Only eclipsed by The Crown and Seasons restaurant on the sea front. Weather was not particularly kind to us but it did not diminish the quality of our stay.

Room Tip: if you book for 4 nights or more you will get a 10% discount. Book direct with Kevin and Evette to get the best deal.

Thank you for your lovely review. Kevin is always pleased to hear when people enjoy his cooking. We think Wells is wonderful (although we might be a bit biased) we're glad you liked it too.

My Sister and I have just spent four nights at this excellent B&B and really enjoyed our stay there. Kevin and Evette, the hosts, couldn't do enough for us, and had put a lot of thought into making sure the room was just right, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was wonderful and kept us going all day on our long walks around this beautiful part of the country. The twin room was a very good size and was well laid out, overlooking the back garden. The house is in a good location and within easy walking of the town and the bus stops. We hope to return and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone wishing to explore this lovely area.

My wife and I stayed at the Look Out B&B for 3 nights in March 2017, it was our first visit.

We stayed in the double room at the front of the B&B, it was spotless, quiet and comfortable. The room was very good value for the money.

The B&B is an easy 10 minute walk into town where there are some very good restaurants at reasonable prices.

Kevin and Evette are really good hosts, with a great knowledge of the local area. They are not overwhelming and intrusive, they get the balance just right.

The full English breakfast was first class and there is plenty of choice that caters for everyone’s preferences.

This, honestly, is one of the best B&B’s I ever stayed in, I really can’t find any fault with it. I would stay again without hesitation.

B&B on the edge of Wells with two guest rooms, one of which looks out over the town to the sea beyond. Owners Kevin and Evette could not have been more welcoming, providing a spotless and comfortable place to stay. Breakfast was lovely (and hearty) and plenty of choice was offered. Plenty of parking space. In all The Look Out can be recommended without reserve.
