Had lunch here with a small party of friends on a gloriously sunny Sunday. We did wait a little while to order drinks but really not long and the Timothy Taylors Landlord was worth waiting for. Lunch was very good indeed, well above average pub standard food. Thought out dishes and good fresh ingredients were delivered by charming, smiling staff, and included a particularly interesting and delicious veggie dish, a very good home made chicken and leek pie, black pudding salad and a dish of smoked haddock with asparagus which were all raved over. A friendly place with a nice relaxed feel, excellent food and good beer.
