“Wow- - - - - -AMAZING”
Reviewed 27 March 2012

This was our first visit and worth every penny. We were so lucky as, about 3 weeks early, the Puffins had landed that very morning on the Isle of May. The excitement of the staff was obvious to see! The cameras on both May and the Bass Rock gave superb views of all the birds and the information boards were incredibly informative. The telescopes on the viewing balcony gave as wonderful close ups of the amazing Gannets on The Bass Rock, the largest colony in the world. Your ticket allows you to leave the Centre and return later ( on same day ) which we took advantage of, but be aware of closing times, we didn't and returned as they were closing!!The centre is very child friendly, even the films are only 5 to 10 mins long so no time for boredom to set in.We didn't use the Cafe but it but it was being well used. A great day out.

Hi there. Thank you so much for this fantastic and detailed review. We get very excited about the return of the puffins to the Firth of Forth islands - it's a magical time at the Centre. They will remain with us until late July. The gannets will be with us until October, peaking at around 150,000 in summer. We hope that next time you are down from Invergordon that you visit us again and get a chance to enjoy our wonderful cafe! Kind regards Laura
