Spent a wonderful 2 days at this delightful B&B during a recent visit to Glyndebourne. Grania and Loudon are supreme hosts - nothing we could have added or asked for that wasn't already provided. Tea and cake on arrival, plus highly entertaining and engaging conversations with our hosts, followed by walk round their lovely garden and fields. Delicious breakfast, extremely comfortable beds, lovely bathroom, very peaceful and quiet - lovely views all round. Altogether one of the very best B&Bs I've stayed in. Such nice people who have clearly thought long and hard about how best to welcome and look after their guests. Travelled with husband and 85 year old Mum - a memorable visit and we will back!

Came down to Waldron to a family wedding and stayed three nights. We had the barn conversion which is just next to the main house with a door leading to a huge barn full of things to do for kids then off that there's a swimming pool . The owners are lovely . Very friendly and can't do enough for you , the gardens are beautiful and very well kept and you have access all areas. With lots of land and fields 11 acres to walk. The barn has a big living room with a dining area with a small kitchen and downstairs toilet then upstairs there's two bed rooms with four beds and a bathroom with very nice powerful shower. The place is lovely with oldie worldie decco very much in keeping with the building. The breakfast was very nice with there own hens supplying the fresh eggs. Absolutely brilliant place to stay , very good value with the nicest owners you could wish to meet. Would recommend it to anyone we visited Eastbourne , Hastings and beachyhead while we were there aswel. Only half an hours drive from the south coast and Brighton not far so ideal for visiting places.

We stayed at Haymakers in September before our daughters wedding. Loudon and Grania made us feel very welcome. A welcome cuppa on the lawn set the scene for our stay. The barn annex was especially handy for us. Unfortunately it was a little cool to make use of the pool, but we did have time for a short relax in the beautiful sitting room. Our room was very cosy, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely on both mornings. The whole property was tastefully decorated and very homely. We almost felt like family. The grandchildren loved to play with the toys on the lawn and especially enjoyed helping to feed the chickens.
