Good location, to take in some of the sites of Cornwall, King Arthurs place, Newquay, St Issacs, then across to Fowey, Polperro and Looe, but for the best beach and lovely waters, we ended up spending most of the time in Watergate Bay. Jamie Oliver has his '15' restaurant there too, which is certainly worth a visit, but remember to pre book.
Stayed 4 nights in July. The hotel does the trick, a little on the small side and with no air con. we needed the widow open, but then disturbed with the road noise from both sides of the hotel.
But we did only pay £25 a night with a deal I got through, so what do you expect.
The breakfast over in the 'Falcon' wasn't up to much and wasn't a particularly a good deal, you are better off going across the road to Tesco's and getting a couple of scotch eggs, a Ginsters pasty, carton of Tropicana and having breakfast on the beach in Watergate Bay.

Room Tip: Maybe the rooms at the front of the hotel are quieter and get the top floor.

We have used this hotel for a few years, usually to extend a short break in the area by a night or two. Our recent stay was good, especially for the price paid. The rooms have been refurbed fairly recently and have the king-size Dreamer beds which are very comfortable. The room was quite hot, even with the window open. We had a room at the rear, which faces out onto a wall, but there was not much road noise. The staff were cheerful and helpful. One of the advantages of the hotel's location is that if you don't fancy travelling too far for an evening meal there is a pub next door. The Falcon provides good food at reasonable prices and has a decent range of beers.

Very disappointed - Travelodge only provide accommodation for couples and families in Cornwall so no twin bedded room was available, it was a very uncomfortable stay, the single bed was much too small for an adult.

Stayed 2 nights choose Wadebridge as convenient location for us visiting Padstow, Port Isaac, Minack Theatre and Lands End etc. The rooms have recently been refurbished with new decor curtains etc, very comfortable "Dreamer kingsize Bed" but new design headboard very restrictive, missed shelf instead you get cubby holes and built in lights. No Robe hook in bathroom or shelf in our otherwise very efficient shower. No hooks for outdoor wear in bedroom could be a problem in bad weather, storage is very limited. Staff very pleasant and helpful, Marstons Pub next door reasonable tasty food very convenient when after travelling you don't want to go out again.

DIRTY sheets looked like someone had walked over them.if the window cleaner does your window he will not knock the door but if you window is open they will clean anyway and all the water will come into the room on the window sill.Ask for room on the 2 nd floor AND TAKE EAR PLUGS AS VERY NOISY-TAKE A FAN AS THE WINDOWS DO NOT OPEN ENOUGH FOR FRESH AIR,also please Travelodge do not give out dog used rooms for the public with allergies!!!!!!!!

This Travelodge is conveniently located in the town of Wadebridge and ideal for visitors to North Cornwall. It is only approx. 9 miles from the foodie town of Padstow whilst avoiding the higher tourist prices charged to stay there.

The room was clean and comfortable - just what you usually expect from a Travelodge. It is adjacent to a Marston's restaurant which only offers the standard 2-1 bog standard meals but if you travel approx. 1/2 mile into Wadebridge, there are many cafes, bistro's and local inns which offer a better variety and quality of food.

A great location, great views & comfortable beds. Also very helpful staff that couldn't do enough to help us. We stopped overnight to break up a quick visit to Cornwall.
One thing, don't faff about looking for a hairdryer, ask reception and they'll get one for you :-)
